The meeting point has now changed so we walked in circles for a bit before finding the right place. Very friendly and relaxed guide, who obviously knows his stuff. No need to repeat what other reviewers have said about the tour - interesting, informative, entertaining...More

Lots of detailed historical information imparted in quick-fire style, interspersed with humorous asides and social commentary. Very professional, but also somewhat detached and impersonal. Good ... but not great.

We walked on a sunny windy Sunday in late September. As all reviewers agree Jack is a mine of information, engaging and entertaining. We learnt a lot, are extremely glad to have gone and highly recommend the experience.

This tour is primarily tidbits about Waterford's history rather than an overarching story about it. While the stories were generally interesting, I felt like I finished having learnt various trivia about the town rather than knowing a lot of background information as is typical when...More

A walking tour is always a good way to gain an appreciation of an area. Jack's tour was no exception, although Jack was exceptional.
