Great maze, great fairy trail, great tearoom. Lovely setting. Play park. Spent about 3 hrs or more here.

Visited here with a group at the end of August during a day tour of Wicklow. It was presented to us as a 'Downton Abbey' type of house. Our guide (sorry I can't remember his name, elderly man with an engaging manner, great story teller)...More

Spent a very pleasant afternoon in the beautiful Russborough House. The highlight of the visit was the tour of the House. George our tour guide was excellent. He was so informative and gave us a wonderful account of the main attractions

Excellent guided tour with Italian students. The house is in great condition to let visitors taste a bit of its splendour. I really enjoyed the guided tour with our Italian students.

We loved our recent visit to Russborough House. It is so beautiful and our guide Paula was both highly knowledgeable and entertaining. Our lunch in the cafe was delicious, and we enjoyed our walk around the grounds, the maze and the walled garden. We'll definitely...More

Russborough is better preserved, has a lot more of its contents kept in the house and on view. Go to both, take the tours but if you can only get to 1, I would go to Russborough.

When we visited the beautiful grounds in April we did see people walking their dogs on a lead.
