About
Peterborough's First Micropub, opened in 2016 specialising in great cask ales from carefully selected local and national breweries. We also serve Cornish lager, craft beer and a small selection of wines & spirits as well as soft drinks alongside Tea & Coffee. Our fridge is chock full of exciting craft beers from all around the world. We have a quirky range of bar snacks including our home made pork pies. The Bumble Inn was awarded a Gold award in 2017 from the Peterborough CAMRA branch and went on to win the branch Pub of the Year in 2018.

Amazing find, nice micro pub with friendly staff and good choice of drinks
They also serve Nepalese food to go with your lovely drinks and friendly service. The chap behind the bar is very helpful when choosing. I would recommend the Seacider Marmalade which was on when we visited! My husband would recommend the Thornbridge Pica Pica or the Titanic Iceberg. They will have drinks on rotation but definitely worth a visit to enjoy a couple of drinks here or even the food. Sadly we already booked elsewhere for food but would return to try the food for sure! We also loved that their toilet is twinned with a loo in Guatemala!! ❤️

I hope this is the future for all pubs!!
I have admired this micropub before but stayed out because it was busy(always a good sign). This time I'm so glad I went in. A great selection of Real Ales, ALL in excellent condition - I did try them all. The guy behind the bar was knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are reasonable, verging on cheap. I must also mention the home made nuts - delicious with a capital D. Thoroughly recommended, and I will always return when in Peterborough.

Excellent Micro for Real Ale Lovers: Good Atnosphere, Great Staff, Many Beers!
The Bumble Inn is an outstanding real ale micropub in Peterborough, a 5 minute walk from the station. Craft beer pubs in town are few and far between, this is the best one. It's a very small pub (20-25 customers max at the same time I reckon), the décor is very basic and functional, as with so many small craft establishments. Tiny outside seating to the front, on the pavement. The staff are very friendly indeed (one gave me a free ticket to the trade session of the beer festival), and they know their beers. The list of canned and bottled beers was outdated, but that proved no real problem at all. Visited almost daily during my 9-day visit to Peterborough. Good atmosphere, many local punters, good rotation of cask ales. Happy to have found my go-to place for cask beer on the very first day. I bumbled in, I bumbled out. Frequently.

Arrived early in Peterborough for a social event in the evening - so thought I’d venture out for some beers - but only after a quick Google search “real ale in Peterborough”.

After popping to The Ostrich (very good busy real pub) though I’d pop in here.

It was fairly busy - in that all 5 tables were taken, some by sad buggers like me on their own, but I went in anyway and thought I’d just sit down next to a similar loner.

The bar had 5 real ales on. I didn’t recognise any of them and it has that nice little touch of a little bit of the ale infront of the pump so I could see what colour it was.

The Northampton Saints fan man served me. Lovely fella and knows his beer described a couple to me. His description was spot on!! Good price at £3.70.

I see they do one third pint - three glass paddle, so going to try that next.

Some mention music - but I’m quite content here tapping away on my phone - and if I was with someone - I think I’d just chill out, chat about nothing and enjoy it.

Cracking little place and would 100% come back.

After a friendly welcome from the barman we enjoyed a couple of drinks in this inviting little watering hole. A reasonable selection of cask ales and ciders, outside seating when the weather is kind, and a good atmosphere.

Ticks most boxes: great beer, cosy venue, pleasant decor, and away from the busy part of the city centre. The only slight neg for me is what other people prefer in micropubs - no background music! When there's only a couple of people in there it's just nice to have some wallpaper melodies to break the silence IMO. Otherwise thumbs up all round and will definitely be back.

We were walking along on the other side of the street and spotted this place, and we're very glad we did!! Lovely, relaxed, chilled atmosphere, we were served by an extremely helpful and friendly barman, and we really enjoyed the selection on offer to sample and buy!
