Great F4 experience - thoroughly recommend.
Excellent experience on the 1 hour F4 Simulator. Great instruction by Alan (ex F4 pilot), very patient and forgiving when I ploughed off the runway multiple times! 🥺🥺 Managed to fly a few carrier approaches with a 50% success rate and the carrier launch was excellent fun! Great value for money and would love to come back soon if I lived closer to Peterborough!

    Thoroughly enjoyable!
Booked the F4 experience for my husband’s birthday. He was not sure at first as he has never done any flight simulators, but he absolutely loved it and is looking forward to doing it again once they have done the next upgrade. As a spectator I really enjoyed it: the team was friendly and talked me through everything what was going on and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend!

A BLAST FROM THE PAST .
I served in the RAF in the 70s and 80s as a Flight Line Mechanic on The Mighty F4 Phantom. I arrived for my 60min sortie in the much loved fighterjet of the cold war, that I had spent a big part of my young life servicing. I was met on arrival by a very plesant gentleman called Al an ex RAF F4 fightr pilot and QFI . we had both served together on 111Sqn at RAF Leuchars and 19(f) sqn RAF Wildenrath in Germany . A very plesant start to the day . A bit of roll reversal Ha Ha . Time to kick the tyres and light the fires (as they say ). The brief completed it was time to strap in and launch on my first time at the controls of this Beast. It prove to be a lot harder than I thought. Multi tasking is a lot more than i appreciated as ground crew , thinking the pilots were off on another jolly having fun screaming through the clouds. Al was very relaxed and calmly guided me through my sorties . The defenders of our skies have my total respect . This simulator is the closest you can get to the real thing . I missed the deck on my carrier landing but was servicable enough to experience a Max-Mil re-heat cataoult launch from the deck and complete a succesful landing at Aberdeen airport in time for tea and medals . A really good day out for budding Fighter Jocks . I need a few more hours to get my wings, but highly recomed this experience. A BIG BIG THANK YOU to Al for bringing me back safely.

Magnificent! You won't be disappointed I promise you!
What an incredible experience! Well I mean, where else can mere mortals fly an F-4J Phantom II? So professional at the venue with plenty of help and support and to top it off - no experience necessary! Loved every minute of my 40min visit.

    Awesome F4 Phantom simulator
A fantastic experience in the F4 Phantom simulator ending with a successful carrier landing, assisted by expert coaching from the instructor. I stumbled across this unique opportunity a few months ago and had been eagerly anticipating the visit. It was well worth the journey from Scotland. The preparation materials in the ebook gave a flavour of the experience and it was a very warm welcome on arrival. Sitting in the cockpit of a real jet, sensing the movement and hearing the engine roar on afterburner was amazing. Thanks to everyone I met for making this such a great day out.

    F4 Phantom fun
Same as pretty much every other reviewer here, a faultless and unique experience. Just seeing the simulator up close, gives a feeling of exhilaration, to then get into the cockpit and see the instrument panels, all the levers, and trying to remember where everything was, was incredible. Those Phantom drivers really had their work cut out. Whose idea was it to put the flaps there!?? Plenty of realistic movement, and even weirdly almost feeling low g, which is of course not real but the simulator was so good it tricks you. Good chat before and after about plans for the future of this wonderful piece of kit, I’ll certainly be back for more, and probably have this as a gift for other friends and family. Thanks for having me. Loved it!

    Phantom F-4 Experience
I bought the Phantom F-4 experience as an xmas present for my husband, Colin, & what an amazing experience and worth every penny it was. David, his instructor, explained everything really clearly during the briefing and then he was let loose on the simulator. I sat next to David with a headset on so I could hear all the instructions being given and watch on the screen. A very intense experience and a lot harder than it looks. Colin said he could have done with another hour to perfect landing on the runway and the aircraft carrier, but he thoroughly enjoyed the experience. David was thorough, patient and the perfect instructor! A great gift for anyone wanting to experience being a pilot.

Ever flown a Boeing 737-800 under the Golden Gate Bridge? We have!!!
Booked for my husband's 60th Birthday and found this to be an excellent experience. Chris B was fabulous, very professional. He was so knowledgeable, understanding and very, very patient! Flying a Boeing 737 - 800 under the Golden Gate Bridge is something only ever dreamt of, and Chris brought it into near reality. Photo and video of the whole experience to recap later with. Thank you Chris, it was a pleasure meeting you.

My 13 year old son did the F4 phantom experience and it was amazing! The instructor was fantastic, very clear and with easy to follow instructions. The framed photo was a lovely memento and my son can't wait to return for a combat mission!

A brilliant trip in the Phantom F-4 simulator. I had not flown for over 50 years but soon managed to land on an aircraft carrier thanks to some advice and guidance from my 'Instructor/Supervisor'. A really enjoyable hour. I intend to make a return visit and hopefully have less 'missed approaches'!

Got this for my Christmas Present from my wife, the whole experience was amazing.
The session started with a briefing on where the essentials are in the cockpit, this is not counted in the flying time, the time of the session is "in the cockpit"
You start with take off and landing from a runway, including an afterburner take off. Once you achieve this it's on to the carrier. Take off was easy... ish, because it's more or less the same as a runway but the landing, well that's a different story.
Andrew was the instructor and he was very patient with my repeated failures, 4 of them, to get the plane on the deck offering advice in a calm measured tone (mostly "get the nose up a bit, bit more")
The only piece of advice I can give is get the 40 minute flight or more as the time just flies by (no pun intended).

Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a realistic flight simulator with all functioning buttons and controls. The instructor (Andrew) was very polite and helpful with all the flight sim instructions and to how to guide you round all of the cockpit.

I've just had a fantastic day with Chris, the most patient and encouraging of instructors, on the superb Boeing 737-800NG simulator. It's like stepping into a real aircraft; turn left for the flight deck and right into a business class cabin for guests who can watch events on a screen and even have scenery outside the windows!

Their was a warm welcome and Chris really worked hard to make my dreams a little more real.

Arranging the booking with very friendly and efficient staff was also a pleasure.

The 737-200 full motion simulator is now on my wish list.

WOW..... just WOW.... Lets start with the basics, I booked a 40 min F4 session online and a lovely lady soon confirmed the details by phone and email. Arrived a bit early and sat in reception where I could hear the simulators running... In short time I was greeted and we ran through the formalities and discussed how I would like my flight to go..I am a private pilot that has flown a couple of MiG's in Russia with a well known travel company, so I was keen to see just how realistic this was going to be. I climbed into the cockpit and pulled on the headset... quick run over the controls and flight briefing. Then.... I completely forgot that I was in a simulator as I ran through the flight... Had a go at a carrier landing and made a few rookie mistakes, but with some (a lot of ) guidance I did manage to succeed..Although 40 mins sounds like a long time, it really wasn't enough to truly explore your inner Top Gun..

A great experience - the simulator was very realistic being an ex-RAF model. All the cockpit displays and controls were present and functional and the visuals were good. I am a light aircraft PPL pilot and I thought the motion really added to the realism of the experience- I hadn’t flown a motion simulator before.
My instructor gave me a good pre- flight briefing and then talked me through details as I flew over a headset from his ground station.
In my one hour flight we did four or five normal take offs and landings, a night landing, some low level flying and general handling before finishing with some carrier approaches and landings - two bad crashes followed by a sort of landing which then allowed me to try a catapult launch.
Overall I really enjoyed it and felt the post flight rush I get from flying for real.

My friends and I greatly enjoyed the F4 Phantom Jet Simulator. It was an amazing experience and a real learning curve for me. Our flight instructor, Alan (a former F4 pilot), greatly added to the day with his advice and experience.

What an amazing and fun experience. We had a good briefing and then walked up the ramp through the gate into the cabin then the cockpit. We flew the 737 800 fixed base, but when flying I was completely convinced and felt flight like motion !

We had a flight each but could sit on a jump seat whilst the other person flew. We could have brought passengers with us and they would see moving scenery out of the cabin windows and watched the cockpit video streamed to a screen in the cabin.

The instructor regaled us with tales of his experience and recent flights and then took us through programming the flight management computer and the information on the primary flight display. We chose a flight from West Midlands to Manchester and then from Salzburg to Innsbruck.

The instructor was helpful and encouraging but challenging. He made us think and gave a glimpse of what flying an airliner is about. Holiday trips will be so much more enjoyable as a result.

He also let us see the Phantom full motion simulator which has just had a former Royal Navy Phantom pilot in.

A really great experience.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Very realistic B737-800 cockpit, with few rows of Premium Economy seats behind. Andrew had a wealth of aviation knowledge, very skillfully explained each and every question. Fantastic 90 minutes of flying under professional instruction. Lots of enjoyment, for example managed to land Kai Tak approach. Will definitely come back to try other simulators. Andrew - thank you very much for a fantastic day, you're a legend!
