Visited with our 6 year old grandson and couldn't get him out of the model railway! Considering that it is run completely by volunteers it was brilliant. We have been to the National Railway Museum but there was more for our young grandson here - seriously had more fun. Cost is low - where else can you get anything for... More

Visited Railworld years ago with my nephew and visited again in October with another nephew. They have spent a lot of money on it and you can see. The model railways are lovely and kept my nephew entertained for hours. I couldnt get my nephew away from the indoor one! The colouring station is also a nice touch, he loved... More

We visited here today with our 4 year old grandson and he absolutely loved it. The outdoor garden track is brilliant - in fact we couldn't drag our young charge away from it to see the rest of the site for ages. The complex indoor model railways are wonderful and there are plenty of hands-on activities in the Global Hall.... More

Having lived in the Peterborough area for 6 years I didn't even know Railworld existed. This is a beautiful place and a hidden gem near to the heart of the city. Run and maintained by volunteers the cost if entrance is nothing compared to what you see following all their hard work. I spent the day here volunteering and really... More

Railworld is a fantastic place for everyone to enjoy from train fans to nature. I have been a few times and it is fantastic what Brian and a group of volunteers do. With the right support Railworld could be even better than you could ever imagine.

Our first visit to railworld and the wildlife haven, we have had such a lovely time. Went with children ranging from 1 to 4 years old and they all got something from it. The steam railway museum has a real charm about it but its more aimed at and for kids. It is cash only payment. The model trains rolling by are the thrill here and the wildlife haven.
