Slightly out of the way (if you are staying in the town centre) but well worth the walk (or drive - plenty of free parking). Hard to believe this is a parish church. More like a cathedral, huge and absolutely stunning.

I attended Parish Mass at St Wilfrid's having not been back there for many years. The church is as splendid as ever, although there is clearly some expensive restoration work to be undertaken on both the floor and the organ. The latter is a wonderful...More

Grade 1 listed St Wilfrid's rises out of the landscape as though it has been beamed down from Italy - as one might expect from a Temple Moore church. As the stonework glows in the evening light against a clear blue sky it truly takes...More

A fine example of a Temple Moore church. The church also has a beautiful organ. Parking is easy, too.

I have used both the church hall and the church itself for evening events and both are beautiful and unusual venue's or just great places to come and visit. There really is nowhere else like it in the Harrogate area! If you are looking to...More

If you're visiting Harrogate, take the time to see this wonderfully beautiful church. It feels almost like a cathedral because of the clever way that it's designed (the only downside is that you can't see the east end from the nave because of a heavy...More

A most beautiful building designed by Temple Moore and really more like a cathedral. This Anglo-catholice church is open every day and is warm and welcoming. There is a service held every day and Sunday Parish Mass is at 10.00 am and is followed by...More
