We enjoyed a concert here from Steve Harley. The concert was a sell out but we managed to get two seats up in the Gods! The view is steep but not far from the stage so I would not be put off choosing up there again if the price was right.

Visited Harrogate last week for a two night break with my wife to celebrate Valentines night and attend the above Theatre. Harrogate has three really good theatres, this was our first visit to this particular theatre as we normally attend the Royal Hall. However we were really impressed by the Music Hall atmosphere of this venue, the seating capacity is 500 but you are never far from the stage. Decor is in keeping with the age of the theatre, ample bars for refreshments and run by helpful and friendly staff. Our visit was to see ( Eric and Ern ) a fantastic show based on the best of Morecambe and Wise, almost as good as the real thing, audience was regally entertained. The Harrogate Theatre is situated in the centre of town and quite unassuming from the outside, but inside it really comes to life. We stayed two nights at the Old Swan and the theatre was a comfortable 15 minute stroll, easily accessible on foot. Really enjoyed the break, we are becoming regular visitors to the Harrogate Theatres, any excuse for a break away these days. We will certainly return and are currently checking the listings for all upcoming events at the Harrogate Theatres, we find the shows as enjoyable, inexpensive entertainment compared to a visit to restaurants or pubs. See you soon.…

We have been for a few years now between Christmas and New Year for the annual Pantones. This year it was exceptional!, lots of subtle adult focused humour, great interaction and fabulous cast. Lovely old traditional theatre that never disappoints.
