Interesting but only worth a visit on a wet day. Worth the £4 entry fee but would not be happy paying more.

This is a really nice compact museum. The tour guide provided really interesting information on how the waters of Harrogate healed people and many travelled quite a distance to avail of it. There are also some egyptian artefacts to see which have been donated to...More

The story of Harrogate and its development is well presented and illustrated but there is little else to capture the imagination. Even if you studied all of the material on display in detail it would take less than an hour to go around.

This very small museum was good value and well worth a visit. The only down side was the amount of reading required. I think children would find it difficult to keep an interest as the wasn't any interactive exhibits. The story of harrogate really interests...More

Being senior citizens we only paid £2.90 each, which is probably about right for this very small museum. There are many displays which detail Harrogates history and a few costumes and dresses, as well as display cases and a section on Egyptology. There are numerous...More

Visited the Pump rooms at lunch time on a very short visit on a coach tour. Saw the museum that was very small, that was quite interesting but that was it, saw no pump rooms, considering we payed about £5 each.
