Beautiful cathedral with enormous stained glass windows. Lots of information boards providing insight into the artifacts. Great to see Edward II tomb. If you have time do the crypt tour. the guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Unfortunately the treasury was closed when we visited but what we could see through gate looked very interesting.

Beautiful impressive cathedral. Well worth a walk round both inside and outside. Welcoming ladies at the entrance to help and advise you. Great shop too. Some building work going on around it at the moment but it doesn't interfere too much.

Visited cathedral with husband. Grounds currently under construction so walked around outside. Free entry just a donation. Amazing place to visit. They dedicated have an online restaurant that serves meals and teas coffee and cake. We didn't go inside but prices seemed reasonable.

This cathedral is impressive and amazing. Beautiful examples of stain glass windows. When we visited there was a display of paintings in the Cloisters. The Garth was beautifully scented by the wild jasmine bushes.

Visiting Gloucester Cathedral truly is like stepping back into the past - it feels like a tangible link between us and those who lived and worshipped here in times past. From walls covered with unusual memorials, intimate chapels, astounding architecture and the warmest welcome from guides and staff who clearly love their cathedral - a visit here is truly remarkable.... Absolutely amazing! The history, Beautiful condition, is very impressive. Situated in a nice little square with narrow streets and very much Old England. You need to park a bit away but not more than 10 minutes from a paid lot. Definitely visit and takes lots of photos.

The Cathedral doesn't appear as impressive as some others since it is very build up around, and at the moment is surrounded with scaffolding and construction. It's still well worth the time for a visit - and great value - is it free to enter, and £3 for a photo permit. Donations on the way in or out are also welcome. The... More

We visited the Cathedral to see the religious(multi-faith) art exhibition in the cloisters- most impressive. It is free to enter and well worth visiting- we love the architecture of the Cathedral too.

Wonderful hour spent looking at this marvellous Cathedral, it is vast and beautiful. The organ playing was beautiful. Free to visit and relies on donations

For starters some of Harry Potter is filmed here!if I'm honest if it wasn't for that I wouldn't have visited. However I was pleasantly surprised. It's beautiful.
