Not knowing that county in great detail this was an excellent start point to better understand what material is available. Friendly and knowledgeable staff provided good guidance and assistance throughout my visit. I came away with hints, tips booklets and maps that will help me... More

Excellent facilities and the staff are great. It does get busy at times. Well organised, very interesting. We went on a tour of the facilities last year in September Open Doors and found the whole thing fascinating. With so many programmes on this subject now, it shows you how you can achieve your own results and it doesn't have to... More

Suppose you could look upon it as all Gloucestershire's documentetd history under one roof and... More

We were impressed by the helpful staff who assisted us in finding a Marriage certificate of my Great Great Grandparents dated 1842. We then visited the Church where they were married. Plan to visit and spend more time to discover more about my ancestors.
