Had a decent meal here, the food is big and hearty but not extraordinary. However, the location is completely unique and the staff are really nice. Prices are excellent. All in all, a good well priced meal in a nice atmosphere.

Open fires, mulled wine & attentive service. We enjoyed a very late lunch - 3pm of whitebait & chicken goujons in welcoming surroundings.

Very good pint of Bass I am pleased to report. Other beers seemed to be going down well too with happy drinkers all round!
