In and amongst the hustle and bustle of a ran down city you can find derby's equivalent of the Garden of Eden, nestled quietly off the beaten track. The sound of birds chirping, children laughing and dogs barking is a welcomed change from the sirens...More

Loverly park, places for picnics, drinks and ice cream. Boating lake with rowing boats, pity no motor boats. Golf and tennis. Many large dogs without leads. Parking is expensive, should be free like other parks in Derby

I am sorry to hear about your experience yesterday. The park is popular with dog walkers who take a pride in the park. We regularly monitor for dog fouling and signage is in place. I do hope you will reconsider and visit the park again.

Brilliant free day out. During the summer the paddling pool is filled, and donkey rides can be had. Bonfire night is great.
