Lydiard House, Lydiard Tregoze church, lake teaming with bird-life, mature woodland, large expanses of grasslands, ice house, walled garden, static barbeques (with seating) to rent, 2 cafes, childrens's monkey adventure trail, small hotel & conference centre. All of this in one location, with plenty of parking, moments from West Swindon.

Enjoyed first visit to Lydiard Park. Walked around the lake, through the woodland carpeted in snowdrops abd around the outside of House. Enjoyed soup for lunch at the cafe in Hook street car park. Staff friendly and homemade soup was delicious. Look forward to returning.

Beautiful grounds but the service is the cafe was so slow and they were quite rude. They could not deal with a short queue on a winters day, can't imagine what it would be like on a busy summer day. Waited over twenty minutes even though there was only two people in front of me. Asked for a knife for... More

Only gave 4 stars as having to pay for parking now. We often come here for a walk with our 3 year old and also a play in the kids area. Well kept and looked after.

I love this place - It is my favourite walking place - I walk to the park, then around the park, then stop for a coffee at one of the coffee outlets and then walk back to where I parked the car.

Lydiard Park is a lovely place to visit. Lots of space for families and animals to roam. Their are restrictions in place so check them but still a great utility space for the people of Swindon. The staff in the catering areas are a genuinley lovely group of people, particularly the crew in the Walled Garden cafe.

Lydiard park has something for everyone. Its great to take the kids, plenty of space to run around and play games, there is also a play park for the children with a small cafe nearby. Its very popular with dog walkers. A great place to go on a lovely sunny day with a picnic.

We took our 14 year old budding photographer to lydiard park . The park is free to walk around and has a lake too . Fantastic for walking the dogs . The weather was a bit miserable but in spring and summer this place will be amazing for picnics and bbqs as you can hire a spot for a bbq... More
