Great for kids especially when quiet
Great for kids, as friends we took a 2yr, 4yr and 8yr old. First time at soft play for my 2yr old and she loved it. The tots area was huge considering the price. Lots of different size slides, climbing bits, etc The bouncy castle was brilliant. We went on a Friday late morning and it was lovely and quiet. The older kids loved the bigger area. Football pitch was great fun. Food menu had a decent choice, kids were happy, the Tuna Panini was okay but a bit underdone tbh. They desperately need to hire more staff, the one lady was dealing with new arrivals / people leaving/ food orders and making drinks and bringing food out, she was also cleaning tables and floors. After 2pm it got busy, I think it’s great adults are free but when it’s 3 adults to one child & they are getting in the way of the littles playing it’s a bit of a joke. Also no one was checking that no food or drink was in the play areas, one kid was scoffing a packet of crisps in the ball pit. No sign of any parents, other young children had got stuck at various times and their parents just ignored them- that or was so far away didn’t hear them. Overall clean and at a quiet time it’s great. Will come back but just leave as soon as it’s busy. Parents need monitoring more than the kids

    Kitchen needs work
The play is good, the new DJ music is good (maybe too loud) the mascotts are brilliant (BUT) they need to do something other than stand there and wave it would make it so much more fun for the kids. Hope music and mascots are here to stay!? Much better experience. Ok so the kitchen! It's a very long wait for what comes out. Solid sandwiches and barely any filling, undercooked chips happens too often, cutlery is usually 9/10 dirty or hairs in my food 😷. Kitchen staff could be a little more happier, they always seem fed up. Ashley B, you're great. Problem always solved but eventually it gets off putting. Party's are simple, nothing special but it works. Other than that the play for the kids is good, so we always come back but would definitely avoid the food even my children won't touch it. Once they correct this they would have it all.

Term time good, school holidays bad
This place is okay in term time but unfortunately during school holidays it is carnage. The staff are not vigilant on the hygiene of the area and the staff look and act like they don’t want to be there. There needs to be some sort of monitoring on the toddler area as older children were running wild in there knocking into the toddlers. Staff walked past and watched but did nothing to try and ease the mess. The food is a let down. There isn’t a large variety available of either hot or cold food. It has amazing potential, unfortunately not how it is at the moment.

Poor organisation, basically ignored by staff!
Visited twice recently, once for my son's birthday and most recently for his friends birthday. Both visits extremely poor! We were basically ignored by staff and had to hunt down staff if we needed anything, which then took ages to arrive. No information given when food would arrive which led to the children sitting around waiting and some children crying because they were hungry. Standard of food not great, with most of it being left. I found the place grubby and quite unwelcoming. I wouldn't book another party here and would definitely think twice about attending another birthday at this venue. Parking is just a joke, no room to try to get into a space. There is a decent amount of spaces available but driving around the carpark is a challenge let alone attempting getting into a space.

Cold food, long queues for a drink, processed food all for kids and adults and deep fried, nothing healthy on the menu unless you have fruit

What is a toddler up to age four or five perhaps? Much older up to nine & ten year olds were running wild, an attendant is needed to keep older children out of baby area. My seventeen month old grandson was in the baby & toddler area while nine & ten year olds were absolutely out of control. No concerns for the smaller babies.
Something needs to change before a little child is hurt.

Food is terrible. I has a bbq chicken panini...was barely toasted and they squirted bbq all over and hardly any cheese inside. My friend had a burger...the roll was all soggy and the burger was very greasy. Would never buy food there again

I went this afternoon and the service and play area is absolutely desgusting. I had two friends with me and a parent who was able to find one chair dumped in the middle of the room, still covered in a flaky dust.

The play areas were old and dusty, many things that i used to play with when i was younger were broken, dirty or just had been removed. This upset me because i have so many fond memories of this place but now its quite sad and outdated.

There are basically no rules at that plce anymore, it was crazy busy and packed. Too many children running up slides and smacking people with balls. The football pitch didn't even have a ball, young children were kicking round a discarded toy capsule.

Behind the soft play (still in the building) was a bunch of rotting games and equipment that many children would love to play with, but it must have not been moved to a long time as it was so thick with dust, you could barely see anything down there. A poor child, about 3 years of age, was in tears because a few of the things back there were mould and moth bitten, resembling something youd see in a horror game. Was quite creepy.

The main this is that the big bouncy castle was broken and nobody was actually being told to get off it. Poor children were being jumped on and getting injured. There was probably more children on there than in the actual soft play, but none of the bone headed staff took a care to notice anything off about it. I twisted my ankle horribly and thats was the end of may so called 'fun session'. This castle was so boken a number of children that were trapped in one place were actually on the floor. (Unfortunately i was one of those poor kids and it ruined my day)

Toilets were also awful and disgusting, floors were soaked in puddles, and i very doubt the liquid was water. No soap, toilet paper and the toilet seats were falling off.

Never bring your children here! Its a trap and dangerous, especially young children.
Its also just a bit boring now, this 'jollly rogers' aint so 'jolly.

First time at this soft play and we were very disappointed. We ordered food and it was cold and I was told by the staff to heat it up in the microwave and it was cold because it was sat around-we picked it up as soon as our number was called. I was then told she would get the chef because she had other customers she needed to serve! Considering I am clearly heavily pregnant and with children that they didn’t take it more seriously. When I pointed out to the chef the beans were cold like they were straight out of the can he said he’d make us some more but I had to heat up our other food in the microwave. Also the toilets were disgusting-one of them was leaking a yellow liquid probably urine into a container. It was dirty and needed a good clean. Children thought the soft play was great.

Very nice place and a lot to do for toddlers. Great value for money. Good coffee. Maybe a little bit dated.
