- lauraWalsall, United Kingdom4 contributionsWonderlandIm not going to lie i was expecting more from this experience! We had completed the whole park within an hour and half! Some of the rides are a little old and battered but there is a ride for every child to go on! And on the positive side it is a beautiful theme park and is really fun to go around. Defo worth going when an even is on!Hello, Thank you for taking the time to give us a review! Sorry that you felt this way but we are glad you enjoyed your day with us! If you had fun on a general admission day then I'm sure one of our event days would be a big hit with the kids!! Was told we couldn’t get a refund or even come back the next day, so made the most of it in true British style. Hardly and characters about unlike last year. All the rides were wet, but we’re still running. Everywhere is so open hardly any places to shelter. We went straight to do trick or treating in the little houses, but ended up waiting for ages outside in the rain. Kids by now were soaked through and cold so decided to go home. The paths on the way back out were poorly lit and by now very water logged. - Louise l6 contributionsMostly a positive experienceWent to winter wonderland with my family to visit santa. We booked our santa time slot for 11am, which is as soon as they opened. We arrived at 10.50am only to be greeted with a queue that stretched halfway across the car park. We joined the queue and it was moving so slowly, we didn't manage to access the attraction until 11.40. By the time we used the toilets and got to the santa queue it was 11.50. Something really needs to be done about the dark lane entrance, 2 people doing admissions when there are so many families waiting isn't enough. The elves were all lovely, without exception and Santa was wonderful, taking the time to speak to all of our children and made sure everyone was involved. We recieved beautiful reindeer teddies from santa. We saw the grinch who was absolutely fantastic. He even sounded just like him! The cold weather had caused the glass in the majority of the little houses to frost over so you couldn't see inside them. We decided to grab some hot drinks and hot food as it was below freezing. We bought some hot dogs for £5 each. They were delicious and absolutely huge! However there was not a hot drink in sight.. (except for shot glasses of mulled wine and a mince pie at mrs claus' cottage.) We tried every food and drink stall and there was none. This really isn't acceptable when you're opening your doors in freezing weather.. there didnt seem to be anywhere indoors to sit and eat either which is disappointing as there had been plenty in years gone by.. Fortunately on leaving the park we spotted that the zoo next door had a cafe that anyone could access so we went and warmed up in there with some lovely hot chocolate. It was nice to see that the toilets by the pirate ship had been refurbished since our last visit, they're so much better now.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 2 December 2023

We visited the Magical Winter Wonderland as a family of 4.
The queue was quite long when we arrived but it didn’t take long to go down and we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff.
When we entered it really was very festive with amazing decorations, a lot of time and effort had been taken to make it feel really Christmassy.
All the staff - Elves were very friendly and looked the part.
We got a great family photo whilst waiting to see Santa, I didn’t realise that an Elf had photobombed it until I went through my photos, haha.
Santa was great, the grotto looked amazing & the reindeer gift was super soft!
Thank you team Wonderland for a great Christmas event, we loved the snow & reindeer!

Absolutely awful very disappointed children arrived at 7pm to be told park closing early due to the rain I get weather wasn’t the best however after paying nearly £60 for 3 tickets and told we could watch the fireworks which incidentally didn’t go off till 8.30 and when asked for a refund was told we don’t do refunds as the weather isn’t their fault well guess what it isn’t mine either, never met such rude staff in my entire life, I will never book anything again with this absolute shower of rubbish again, be careful if you book anything with this company

Hello!
On the night you visited us Wonderland had been subject to constant heavy rain for the entire day/evening.
Our website is very clearly marketed as an outdoor woodland attraction & at managers discretion we can make changes to opening times and fireworks etc if the weather is not suitable or safe for our customers.
I would like to highlight a few things.. 7pm is our very last admission time into the park and whilst you arrived dry and warm, majority of our customers had been with us since 5pm at opening, they were wet, cold and very appreciative of our firework display being moved forwards.
Our fire breathing show continued on as normal despite the terrible weather.
The rude staff your referring too had been out in the rain, remaining in character and with high spirits demonstrating great work ethic and dedication to the job that evening, ensuring the customers who did arrive and engage with the event despite the rain had a brilliant time.
We had large amounts of customers thanking us dearly on their way out of the park after the fireworks display had ended.
The team at Wonderland all find this review to be a false representation of that evening & challenge every statement above to be incorrect.
Regards
Wonderland Management.

Well done Wonderland, another fabulous family day out with you.
Went to Wonderland as a family of four with our 6 and 4 year old for the daytime Halloween extravaganza.
Great and efficient check in with staff entertaining children whilst queuing such as the rat man and 'Winifred' from Hocus Pocus.
Upon entering the park children loved the Halloween theme. We really appreciated the parks attention to detail, staff in full character and the interactiveness of attractions.
Rides were great and well manned. Upon travelling around the park plenty of characters were adding treats to our children's Halloween bags that we were given at the entrance. The shows that we watched were well thought out, acted and involved the children well. The maze was fabulous and really cleverly mapped out and enhanced with Halloween decorations. Loved the way that characters were ready to immerse us into the Halloween experience e.g. from ghostbusters on the carousel talking to my daughter whilst in the ride, to snow white who made her day and to the gingerbread biscuit decorating lady who had so much patience and kindness.
We were given a slot to Trick or Treat Village. As an adult I was impressed, all of the actors and actresses were fantastic and all in character (with one ghoul eerily following us around for a while). My daughter found it overwhelming and perhaps a little too frightening at 4 years old but again the staff at Wonderland were great and sensed this/ adjusted their act to put her at ease.
Overall an amazing day out, one not to miss! Thank you to all the staff for their hard work, they really contributed to an immersive Halloween experience.

The park itself is great for younger children and is definitely worth a visit, but I would just like to take the time out to credit Lewis, the member of staff I dealt with when booking tickets. Lewis is an absolute credit to the place, and went over and above to help me book tickets for one of our looked after children, even when the park was actually closed. It really does make a difference to the whole experience when it is started off by someone like Lewis, so thank you!

Website looks amazing, so disappointing when we got there. The woodland trail has not changed in 30 years and is looking very worn/tattered, the tweedle Dee character was over the top obnoxious and scared the kids (and me!) and the slide was closed “due to maintenance” although it looked like it had been closed for some time. Just generally in need of some TLC. Bonus parts included the Mad Hatter and the bouncy castle, but in my opinion just not worth the money.

We recently threw our daughter’s birthday party here and she had a fantastic time!
The person who played Alice was wonderful. She was so patient and friendly towards all of the children. She really made the day enjoyable for everyone, parents included, because she took control of everything and clearly knew what she was doing. Nothing was too much trouble - she offered to cut and wrap the cake without me asking, she asked if we would like to leave the presents and leftover cake somewhere safe while we enjoyed the park and she refused to let me help her tidy up the food table. She is a real asset to the Wonderland team.
The room was decorated beautifully and many of the adults commented on this. The room was clean and spacious. Also, the addition of Cinderella blew the children away.
The food was enjoyed by all - it was hot plus they were good-sized portions. We were impressed at the quality for a children’s party. It was great to have a choice between hot and food too as there was something for everyone and the desserts went down a treat - the ice cream and donuts were huge and the children loved them!
The dancing was a lovely surprise as we weren’t expecting music. Again, ‘Alice’ was great at including everyone and all of the children got involved in the Hokey Cokey and Cha Cha Slide.
We enjoyed the maze and rides as we have on previous visits. The staff working on the rides were very patient when some of the little ones got upset and ask to get off the ride and also when some changed their mind and decided they wanted to join the rides. Again, nothing was too much trouble. Every staff member we encountered was polite and friendly.
All in all, a fantastic party. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing - from invitations to party bags, Wonderland took care of it all. We will definitely recommend to friends and family thinking of throwing a birthday party in the future.
The organisation of the party from start to finish was excellent with great communication from Liberty when I had lots of questions. Thanks again!

We went to visit Wonderland on Bank Holiday Monday and had a great time. The characters greeted us at the entrance and interacted with us throughout the day, the park itself was clean and tidy. The theme is everywhere which is fab!
It was great to have an indoor bouncy castle as it did rain a little. The Forest walk where little ones can explore the different nursery rhyme sets were under the cover of trees too so the rain didn’t stop us from doing that either. The addition of gingerbread decorating was another great indoor activity included in the price.
The rides are great, we were a little disappointed to see the teacup ride had broken/gone. It is a shame it has been replaced with hook a duck which costs £4 rather than replacing it with another ride.
My son particularly enjoyed his time on the carousel, thanks to a very cheeky Tweedle Dee/Tweedle Dum. He was very mischievous and definitely 100% in character.
Crazy golf was great too, we’ve always forgotten about this when we have visited in the past but glad we remembered to give it a go this year.

A charming lovely place. Visited today for the first time. This is a perfect day out for little people. We took two toddlers and a baby. The boys loved the rides that didn’t need adults with them. Getting lost in the maze was lots of fun. We even met the mad hatter in the middle. We then went to a tea party with Alice and the mad hatter and the children were given a treat and a a drink. We also iced biscuits and loved walking round the fairytale houses. The staff that represent the park are doing a great job. Very welcoming Friendly and great with the kids ! We will be back ! Fantastic value for money when you compare to other bigger parks

Hi we’re thinking of taking our 3 year old this year to the winter wonderland, and are trying to work out best time, is it a thing you do at your own pace or are you guided round? Trying to think about her lunch and are there food places there?

We took our 6 year olds. It seemed a little bit on the young side for even them (we didn't return the next year). I'd say you'd have the soft play as back up but there wasn't really an area suitable for tiny babies.
On a whole, it's beautiful there though, lots to see.
