Market is held every Wednesday and Saturday and was first established in 1622. The market is fruit and veg, meats, breads, fresh fish, Asian foods ready to eat, clothing, mobile phone stall. Located in the Market Place in Basingstoke.
Walked around here on Friday night for the Hallowe'en festival which was great so returned on Saturday. Small market with good selection of stalls. As noted by other reviewers a pity there are so many beggars laying around the place.
Basingstoke market held twice a week, Saturday and Wednesday is held outside the old town hall is not large but its well worth a visit if you are in the area. The old town hall is now a museum and visit at the same time.
