We dived in here after a disappointing visit to Milestones. The Wallis had a wonderfully nostalgic display of Ladybird children`s books. There were plenty of details on the artists who contributed their work to these iconic books. Free entry.

Ladybird books exhibition is so lovely and very interesting to view, beautifully set out. For those of us who grew up with these delightful little story and information books and then went on to read them to our children and grandchildren it's a definite must see exhibition. Willis museum has all covid 19 safety precautions in place with access to WC's and of course, a friendly coffee/tea & and cake cafe. Access to the museum is totally free but best to book your visit in advance to ensure your visit goes without a hitch. Recommended viewing!

The "Ladybird" artists exhibition - wonderful. Everything displayed beautifully. A real trip down memory lane! A free exhibition. As we were travelling from a distance we had pre booked, but not at all busy. A shame there weren't any cards, posters or associated "things" for sale in the shop, although there was a good selection of second hand Ladybird books for sale. Recommend!!
