    Dino disaster
My son loves dinosaurs so we visited over the Easter break, I was a little disappointed by it. Most of the dinosaurs were in disrepair within a very small area of the park, the farm had more plastic animals than real ones, a lot of areas were closed due to updates or changes. The one thing I can say I was very happy with was the staff, they were all so kind and helpful which saved this post from getting 1 star. Wouldn't go back, just not enough to do, we were there 90 minutes in total.

    A great day out
We had a great day at the Dinosaur Park. Our children absolutely loved all the models and also loved playing in soft play, on climbing frames and stroking farm yard animals. We felt it was really reasonably priced, easy to access and a very good day out. I would certainly not hesitate to drop in again if I was in the area.

    We won’t stay again.
Lake is green, some staff seem quite unhappy, tipi tent was mouldy, the disco area can barely hold 10% of the visitors. Hunters chicken was incredibly burnt, thankfully we got the money back on that. We had caravans and cars within 3 feet of our TIPI tent. As if they’d been plonked next to us because there was no room else where for them. Shower blocks were ok, could do with a clean more regularly, maybe some bleach and a big lack of information. Tipi contains a double and two singles, if you’re taller than 5ft3 you won’t fit comfortably. We expected a couple little coffee table like things, but sadly not. Wasn’t the cleanest inside and the canvas was quite mouldy. This place could be so much better with a bit more TLC.

    Animal welfare concerns.
Poor animals! Major welfare issues. Donkeys had a tiny paddock and sanded area. No stimulation , no grass to graze. Pacing and leaning on a wall looking very sad. Broke my heart. Poo everywhere!!!!!!!!! Ducks were still caged with no access to water at 13.00. Actually went into area to let them out, animals were not supervised. Ducks then ran to a dirty plastic pool they had to drink , they were so thirsty! Raised this with manager who didn’t seem to care they had no access to water in cage. Come on Gulivers!!!!!!! Sort it out!!! Disgusting !

    Get what you pay for
A real mixed bag to be honest, the dinosaur element is probably the worst but, the river ride quite frankly smelt absolutely rank, as much as the models looked good enough, it was a loud ride and the smell was next level. However, the farm bit at the back probably made up for some of it, the Very Hungry Caterpillar show was very sweet and engaging, the animals were friendly and the kids enjoyed feeding them. The little tractor ride was very sweet but deffo for little ones only, the playground was alright as was the bouncy pad. What you get is reflected in the price, I'm not sorry I went but that's only because of the farm yard bit.

We booked tickets (as is essential in a Covid-19 world) to go to the Dino park as we were coming to The Adventurers' Village and going to the main theme park the next day. I had read a lot of reviews and was prepared to make the best of a bad situation and as it had only cost £23.50 for the three of us I was sure it couldn't be that bad.

I was very pleasantly surprised! From the moment we walked in, the theming was top notch, from the music to the foliage to the animatronic dinosaurs and their accompanying information panels.

The were some rides including: an observation tower that raises several metres above the ground and slowly rotates; a boat ride that we unfortunately missed, a climbing wall and a classic car circuit that our 8 year old was too big for but would have been great for younger children.

There's also a small farm with chickens, ducks, sheep, cows, Shetland ponies, llamas, quails, pigs age a reptile house.

The social distancing measures were very good. We had a late afternoon slot (you have to book a 2 hour slot) and it was very quiet.

We all enjoyed ourselves a lot, including my dino mad son and dino mad husband! I'm in a wheelchair and had no problems at all.

Don't believe the naysayers, my late Granddad would have said that they "expect champagne living on brown ale money"! It's not Disney World; it doesn't pretend to be Disney World; don't expect Disney World!

Attended with my 2 children and grandparents a few weeks ago. Things were very different, understandibly due to Covid 19 however does not make this acceptable. Our allocated time slot was 13.30 until 1530 and as far as we was aware everyone else also had 2 hour time slots. We was also under the impression that numbers were limited and therefore would be easy to social distance however this was not the case.
Our visit consisted of an and 15 minutes of queuing for the boat ride and an ice cream each which we also queued for. After this our time was up and it was time to leave!
The grandparents were totally stressed with the whole experience which should have been a lovely couple of hours.

Either 1 or 2 (or both) things I guess happened to impact our disappointed visit.

1 - Guests out staying there welcome and staying for over 2 hours and this not being monitored by staff.

2 - Gullivers allowing in way too many people.

This was our first visit to the park and will certainly be our last!

The park seems very run down also, I would not recommend this at all!

This is the first review I have ever wrote - So this place must be bad!! LOL!!

Closer supervision by park management needed.

We had a family day out here as a birthday treat for granddaughters.
At one cafe we ordered hot dogs and chips, the chips arrived five
minutes after the chips. Cold food! I asked how much a classic
Magnum ice cream would cost. The staff member replied £3.95
each. I asked for five, he asked for £32.50. I firmly said "No", and
he replied, "That's what it says on the till". Hmm.

We went to the gift shop while we were there and they said
that their Magnums were £2.50, so we asked to see the
manager. No apology from him, just a load of twaddle
saying "you should have contacted me earlier". With
our children around we didn't want a scene, only
respect and a pleasant day out.

Was the worst farm and dinosaur attraction I’ve ever been to (go to paradise wildlife park if you want to see how it should be done 👌🏼)

Half of the dinosaurs were broken and didn’t move or make any sounds (not great for my partially sighted daughter as She struggled to see them if they weren't moving) Same with the insect land……bugs were missing wings, legs etc and just generally really run down, much like the rest of the park and farm!
The farm was an absolute joke, I see more animals in my garden on a daily basis.

The fact that gullivers offers a discounted rate for disabled visitors but doesn’t cater for wheelchairs is disgusting.
We struggled to get round half of it because of the gravel and wood chip paths. There are tiny steps everywhere which would be fine if we could see them but as the painted yellow safety stripes are so faded my daughter nearly ended up face plating the floor as the step wasn’t visible.

No one could point me in the direction of a disabled toilet and when I finally did find one it was locked. No older children changing facilities either.

20 minutes after arriving I gave up out of complete frustration and left the park
Total waste of money and time (an hour an a half round trip there and back)
It’s was so disappointing for my little girl, a complete rip off and it’s most certainly not wheelchair accessible as stated!

Wether your in a wheelchair or able bodied
I honestly wouldn’t even bother!

How they can charge almost £200 for two nights for what is a small shed with a bad sofa bed is beyond me. The balcony is bigger than the room and the double bed is a thin padded cushion they expect two adults to sleep in which is the most uncomfortable night I have ever had. Staff were unhelpful even though the booking showed a completely different accommodation - will be taking this further. Save your money and yourself from ruining your experience and stay in a real hotel or accommodation. It may be a fun place in the day, not that I have any enthusiasm to explore now but do not stay here and experience what I would imagine a bad prison feels like - Beware!

Had a great time here. The low score is undeserving.
1. It was clean, well managed. Had enough personnel for rides and shops.
2. Cheap tickets in comparison to Gullivers theme park. Which would have been 2 or 3 times more expensive.
3. There were only 3 to 4 rides, which is expected since its not a theme park.
4. A few play grounds and decent size indoor play, kids had lots of things to do
5. Good size farm, pigs, chicken, rabbits, lambs, cows, donkeys, sheep, larmas. Be sure to get treats for the animals in the gift shop
6. We spent 4 hours in there, but we could have easily spent the whole day. But half a day would be enough.
7. This is for ages under 7, perfect for 4 or 5, I would not recommend anyone older
8. Not busy, so you can take your time walking and go around at your own pace
9. Food prices is typically theme park prices. Our food was hot and fresh
10. Insect World section isn't very good, but you can easily walk past it.

Overall, great place to go with young ones. Lots of things to do and see.

My 4 year old, who is obsessed with dinosaurs, loved this place. Yes, it's just a bunch of dinosaur statues, some of which move around and roar a bit... you'll cover the whole thing in 90 minutes easily. And if you go in assuming this is the Lost World ride at Universal Studios you'll be disappointed... but if you go in with the assumption you're visiting some roadside attraction in rural america ("see the world's biggest dinosaur!" or something), you will be pleasantly surprised.

I have given the dinosaur park and animal farm a 3 purely because my 2 year old still had a good time but any older would have been very disappointed. I wanted to leave a review, not to be harsh to the company but to warn other families who may be travelling further than we did and spending more money. You could get round it in 30 minutes, the dinosaurs hardly worked, the reptile house is so dark, cages dirty and mostly empty. Rubbish was everywhere. The animal park was empty, empty pens, hardly any animals at all! Everything was pretty closed. I understand due to COVID this place might have been really badly affected, but I would hate a family to travel far for this place. It’s so run down, the boat ride we nearly crashed twice! And nothing to see whilst you’re on it minus a few dinosaurs and overgrown trees/bushes/shrubs etc.

We only paid £20 but I would not be happy if I had paid more for this experience. The only food on offer was ice cream, snacks and a hot dog (serviced alone, no option for chips etc.).

It is what you make it.

Just back from a visit here
Firstly because of cod we had a temperature check at the main gate, not a problem but then NO NOTicE or anything said about face coverings for young children
When we arrived at our first ride aft waiti we were told children over 3!!!! Had to have a face covering . I understand that they can make their own rules and apparently it's on the internet but who reads all the small print
Why did they not make sure at the main gate that people were aware. They could have got one from the car etc . So u happy children, unhappy parents .
Terrible
Also I took my 4 year old grandsons to the toilet, good job I ran the taps the water was scolding but no warning above the sink !!
They also had a archeological dig, great idea but very very weak . A couple of bits to dig up. They could have made this much more interesting by having horns, teeth, antlers or a full body of a dinosaur ( not full size obviously ) to uncover think people please
The boat ride was not worth the wait again no imagination. Could make it much more exciting with a bit of thought
Please try harder
Shame, would not go back could be much much better with some thought a little effort and not much cash injection

Attended here last week paid £30 for a family four. Absolutely terrible day. Nothing to do, we were all cold and bored. It was meant to be a Halloween event, just a few cobwebs around the park nothing special. Really outdated and run down. It was rainy so we did try to make the best of a bad situation. Lots of rides closed. Couldn’t go on any parks etc all wet or closed. There was meant to be cookie making and scarecrow making activity on.
We found an indoor bit where staff gave a cheap biscuit with icing on and a few haribo to put on top. No staff member had clue about scarecrow making.
Farm was pants, hardly Any animals or all plastic. Massively muddy. We had a two hour slot and wanted to leave after 5 mins. What was open took ages due Covid rules. An absolute waste of travel and money. Would never come here again or recommend.
