We are the only independent wine education company in Milton Keynes, and host wine tastings and courses in and around Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire. We offer a range of wine events including fun wine tastings, food and wine workshops and introductory courses. All events focus on enjoying wine in a relaxed and informal setting. No previous wine experience necessary.

Went for the Hidden Gems from around the World with George Atkinson-Clark, a thoroughly enjoyable evening full of information, discussion and more importantly wine tasting. A new way of looking and tasting wines, especially for me who is a complete novice. A great way to spend an evening. Thank you George for your time and making a difference to wine tasting.

We had a wonderful evening at the 'Wine Tour de France' sampling a selection of red and white wines from different regions. The experience introduced us to some interesting wines and we learned a lot about every aspect of wine production. We would definitely go again.

This was booked as a 60th birthday present prior to Covid. Luckily it was postponed until we were able to go along - what a fantastic day! From the moment we were greeted with a glass of champagne, to the informative and entertaining PowerPoint and varied lunch, this was a day perfectly balanced between fun and learning. We tried six white and six red, along with the champagne and our learning about wine has dramatically increased. The venue is good and George is the perfect host. We thoroughly recommend this wine experience and will be back for other courses :)

I can’t post this without selecting a date that I attended and this is the problem. My 93 year old mother-in-law bought a token for my husband’s 60th birthday. The money has been taken from her account but the token has never been received. She and I have been trying to make contact for about three weeks, by phone and email but so far we have had absolutely no response.

We have been”attending” Milton Keynes Wine School during lockdown via zoom. What a fantastic way to spend a Lockdown Thursday evening. When you sign up, you get told which two wines to buy and then you do a tasting from the comfort of your own home in a zoom group. George’s knowledge, good humour and experience make for a thoroughly enjoyable hour of tasting wine and being educated at the same time. We involved our adult children who are furloughing with us and they love it too! Looking forward to a face to face event when we’re allowed out again!!

George masterfully navigated is through the key wine regions of France making it fun memorable and insightful. Great choice of wines, plenty to learn and even picked up a few extra tips! Highly recommend.. fun to do with friends over zoom! George has made lockdown positively bearable with our weekly lessons to look forward to!

This was our first experience of the Milton Keynes Wine School, so didn't know what to expect. Part of a fairly small group, we were all welcomed warmly by our host, George Atkinson-Clark.
Knowledgeable, amiable, generous: George provided insights and wine anecdotes throughout a very enjoyable evening. We learned through the obviously first-hand experience of George, the nature of the various wine regions of France, the grape varieties and what differentiates them, and practical tasting tips. A wide variety of wines (and a champagne), together with generous and tasty cheese and pate accompaniments, helped make this a very entertaining and enjoyable evening.
We will most certainly return! Highly recommended!

George has a unique talent to pass his enthusiasm and knowledge about wine on to other people. It never gets boring as he mixes fun facts with information. I had a great evening, laughed and learnt a lot! Looking forward to the next virtual wine tasting! It's definitely a great way to spend confinement

Brilliant evening. George certainly knows his stuff and made everyone very relaxed. The wines were excellent and it was interesting to experience the difference between them and have the differences explained in an understandable way. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and will be sure to attend some of the other tasting courses on offer. Thanks George.

A brilliant ‘lesson’ in wine! We went to Chicheley Manor, Milton Keynes and met the very personable George. Despite it being a full day (11am to 4pm), the hours whizzed by with informative, interactive and fun facts. I came away definitely knowing more about wine than when I walked in. There was a crowd of 11 of us and another few people there too. Champagne reception and a tasty lunch.
