    Frustrating
Instructor was good however I was very disappointed with the day overall. The practice slope lift was not in action which meant we had to queue for the main lift. We were waiting 10/15 minutes each time to get on the lift and instead to try to get the most out of the experience had to walk up the slope, which was extremely exhausting and tainted the experience
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your valuable feedback. I am deeply sorry that you didn't have the experience that you or I would expect. I am aware of the issues that we experienced with the travelator during your visit and regret that this affected your enjoyment. I am pleased to say that this has now been rectified. Dissapointing.
I normally ride Hemel on Thursday freestyle night and wanted to try out the features at Milton Keynes on Friday. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Changing area and lockers are ok. More benches would be good instesd of just 1 row along the back wall. Staff were plesent. My first gripe was grtting to the top of the slope. The lift pulls you up over what seems like a sheet of plastic. Getting off at the top is poor as people hold on to the lift to pull them round into the top zone. Partly due to being on the plastic. This csuses the lift to emergency stop too often. The snow is of poor quality snd sticky. The features are ok but due to the snow i decided not to hit many of them. I bailed on the small kicker after a speed check killed my speed completley due to the slow snow. Some of the features seemed s bit bigger than they needed to be. The roxy box is an example. There were a couple of great skiers and snowboarders so i assume you could get used to it but i did not enjoy it. Even the music wss so quiet it kills the atmosphere. I left 30 mins before my ticket ended.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback. We are really disappointed that your recent visit did not meet your expectations. Our guest journey is so important to us. Please rest assured that your comments about your experience are absolutely taken on board and help us to improve and develop our offering. Our Freestyle nights are incredibly popular and as such the slope is under heavy use which may, to some extent change the way the snow runs. We have a brand new snow cannon which will assist us with increasing the volumes of snow that we produce throughout the week so this should have a positive impact on this aspect going forward. Our slope maintenance team have been made aware of your feedback regarding the lift experience and will investigate as a priority. We would very much like to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Snozone on another occasion to redeem your experience with us. If this is something you would be happy to do, please contact natasha.trudgill@snozoneuk.com and we will arrange a suitable time. I hope to speak with you soon. Kind Regards Natasha Trudgill Snozone Management Team

    First time on skis
An excellent beginner's day with Josh. He was very patient and made the whole experience very enjoyable being able to look after quite a mix of abilities. A little more guidance on the day before getting kit would have helped me as this was first time at Snozone and first time on skis but overall everyone was helpful.
Thank you for taking the time so share such positive feedback about your recent visit to Snozone Milton Keynes. Josh will be very proud of the kind comments you have written about him, as are we! Thank you also for your insight around the need for additional guidance before getting your kit. Our guest journey is very important to Snozone and we are constantly looking for ways to improve this wherever possible, so we fully take this on board. We hope to see you back on our slope very soon to hone those ski skills! Kind Regards Natasha Trudgill Snozone Management Team

    Shorter than advertised.
Somewhat got the impression that sledging was not top of their list of priorities. We went for the last session at 7pm on Monday as that was the only available session. Session at 7pm for 45mins. Eventually called through to the slopes at 7.05pm and we were back off the slopes at 7.35pm. more like 30mins than 45.
Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you felt that your recent visit to Snozone did not meet your expectations. It appears that there may have been a miscommunication at some stage of the booking process as our sledging sessions are in fact 30 minutes long in our peak season as you have described. I would be grateful if you could email me at natasha.trudgill@snozoneuk.com with your contact details in order to discuss this with you further. I look forward to speaking to you soon Kind Regards Natasha Trudgill Snozone Milton Keynes

    Day Beginner Ski Course
Day Beginner Ski Course I was nervous to ski as I get nervous with acceleration. The day didn't start the best as we were a bit confused about what was happening and the instructor was a bit abrupt... When we found them. I did like skiing more then I thought I would once I had some of the basics down but it went down hill from there excuse the pun. We were in a group of nine at first the instructor would come up and instruct get us on position and watch us go down once the first break was over we would get one demo some people where still on the Skii belt they would go down then just watch from the bottom. That fine but once two people got it right we moved onto the next thing My partner struggled with speed control and actually didn't get past that point so spent the day lower down the hill doing the same thing over and over I'm sure the instructor is great and knows what their doing but just kept repeating themselves with no assistance. He actually got fed up and left early. The instructor seemed to just focus on a couple of people once I was fine but the second I got stuck with turns I didn't progress I actually got stuck a couple of times but he didn't notice he would ask me to go down to watch me I would get to the bottom and he would ask how it went because he hadn't watched. I also ended up leaving because where I found confidence I started to lose it as I struggled to turn and just was losing confidence and then was anxious to keep trying. No of us could hear the I structure as he send up to the first ledge and was just shouting up the hill in the end my partner left two hours early and I left 30 mins after that. The instructor style just wasn't for us and a few people where getting frustrated with the matter of fact Instruction... I'm struggle to turn left just turn your foot .. I'm trying ... Let me show you does it thats it. It's kind of put us off and my partner didn't get past level 1 so kinda of a waste of money also the slope was busy with lesson I struggled to turn so when there was classes on both sides of the slope I had to just bail out to prevent crashing into people getting up was also a massive queue. With a better instructor I'm sure it would have been great for us it was a waste of money

Staff Need To Be More Alert
We have been many times to Milton Keynes. This week was a little disappointing. They are letting to many people on the slopes so you spend too long queuing. My main issue are the staff. I had to complain to them as two women staff were standing by the toboggan run / lift and more interested in talking than watching my son fall on the button lift and get stuck. This could have been a serious accident. I told the girls to do their job instead of chatting. The management need to remind the staff why they are there and not just to catch up on the night before. It was a pity as this has never happened before.

    Instructors support
My boyfriend had a stage 1 group skiing lesson which he enjoyed and did well at. He ‘passed’ and booked onto the combined stage 2&3. At the start of this lesson, no refresher was given and instead he was asked to go straight into skiing and turning. He was very anxious and did his best, but after 2 goes his instructor Wilf was asked ‘ Who passed you on stage 1? You are not ready for this level.’ Then was asked to leave. I appreciate he was not confident, but with a little support and help he could have got there rather than no support and then asked to go. This was a huge knock to his confidence. As a teacher myself, I was appalled to see someone who is trying to learn be dismissed so easily. Please Wilf, when you have a paying customer asking for help, take the time to do so. Luckily, he tried again at stage 1 and was helped by Claire, who built his confidence back up. Thank you Claire.

    A fun day out.
Indoor ski slopes are great if you are learning but always a mixed bag if you can already ski. At that point you want to be focussing on fine tuning technique or just getting some muscle memory back prior to heading to real slopes. Milton Keynes is one of the longer indoor slopes in the UK which I liked. The snow quality was average though. The top half of the slope was decent but the lower half suddenly becomes extremely sticky making it very difficult to carry any speed. As there are ramps etc for freestyle on the right side of the slope it leaves very little actual room to work on any techniques. The general facilities are good. There didn’t seem to be many staff around though which was a bit frustrating when you have a set window and want to get you gear and ski. Myself and friends all had to make multiple visits to the desk as bindings hadn’t been set correctly. I found an hour session enough as it doesn’t take long to become fairly repetitive. Would go again though.

    Mostly good
Great instructor but got fed up being challenged by other ski lift users for jumping the queue. We were told to do this by the instructor but there was nothing to tell anyone else this was allowed. All it needs is a separate marked queue line with a sign. Definitely was a big detractor from an otherwise fantastic day.

There on time but left behind.
We arrived & were told to wait by a pillar. I checked my watch as I was choosing a helmet & it was 16:42 & we were booked in for 16:45. About 16:50 we asked the reception (right by the meeting area) what was happening. They went to check & then told us our time had gone in.. we went in & the staff member told us she'd taken the group in about a minute early. We lost 10 mins of a 30 minute session. We had fun for the short time we had, but customer service was very sub-par.
Jimmy T Thank you for your feedback, whilst delighted that you fun but I am sorry that you never got to experience your sledging activity in full. When making a booking, our team request that guests arrive 45 minutes prior to the activity time slot, this should have also been within your booking confirmation. This is to avoid dissappointment and allow plenty of time for your safety briefing. I am sorry that you were not impressed with the customer service experienced and would welcome the opportunity to discuss this further. Please could you contact me on Gary.adcock@snozoneuk.com so that we can explore this. I hope to hear from you soon. Snozone

Attended the beginners day ski course with Amie as our instructor. She was amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly, led the course brilliantly and made the day very enjoyable. We were lucky with our timing as it wasn’t very busy so wait times for the lifts were minimal. I could see how this would be frustrating if going at a peek time though. All round great day and would highly recommend.

Last year I couldn’t ski so had a beginners day course, after a couple more visits I completed levels 5&6 to then do a parallel day course

I would highly recommend learning to ski here and a special mention my instructor Claire. She is fantastic and incredible and found it really easy to pick it up with her. She makes you feel a sense of achievement even while she is correcting you. You can tell she loves what she does, I’m sure I would have still learnt with all other instructor's as they are really skilled but thankful for having Claire as I have developed a long way in a small space of time

Back at the Snowzone for Dai's development session and its as good as ever. I hadn't been for a long time and it showed in my skiing but as ever the weaknesses were soon identified and hints given to improve. wish I lived closer

Booked in for the Adults Beginners Day course. First time for my husband, first time for me in 10 years. We had Dai, he taught a large group, I think 9 of us in total. It would have been more person with max. 6 people but Dai still tried to give us 1:1 feedback where possible. He was a good instructor, gave the basics and illustrated body positioning with good examples and things to envision. We both felt confident and really pleased with our progress by the end of day. It starts slow, but I would say to other, trust the process! Not everyone learns the same way so a good instructor makes sure everyone can keep up. Our group was next to a couple have a private lesson, if you're impatient then that's probably the way to go. They did the same amount in less time!
Would recommend, and would go again for their improvers course :)

I had a group lesson for snowplough to parallel on an early Monday morning with Carolyn and a great group of others.

We all had mixed levels of experience and all left feeling way more confident! She was patient and tailored the drills and runs to each of our levels and goals.

Fantastic level 1&2 lesson at snozone. I get really anxious doing something new and I absolutely loved it, I think it would have been a totally different experience if the staff were not as kind and patient as they were. Great staff, I think it's not badly priced. Can't wait for my next lesson!

I have wanted to give skiing a try for a long time and wanted to find a slope in the UK with 'real' snow and booked a group beginners lesson at Snozone to prep for a skiing holiday next year.

The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional and made me feel comfortable.

Snozone MK has great facilities, clean and well maintained. We were also provided with a cooked lunch, the food was nice and you have a variety of meals to choose from.

Our instructor, Claire, was brilliant. She was very knowledgeable and patient, but also managed to juggle the group later in the day when some were picking it up quicker than others.
