    Far exceeds expectations
I went with my cousin who is more of a sci fi nut than l am. We visited late on a Sunday afternoon. A few people there but not many. My main motivation for writing a review is the museum is way better than we had anticipated. It is a genuinely impressive collection and really interesting to see bits and pieces seen on film and tv. The spacesuit from 2001 is the showstopper but the thing l enjoyed the most was part of the script from Star Wars where Han Solo makes clear he is in it for the money. Parking is easy and it really is a great place to visit. I know the collection is rapidly growing so l look forward to visiting again in a few years time. Strongly recommended.

    Go!!!!!!
Wasn’t sure what to expect, quite rightly, the exhibits can’t be photographed for copyright reasons. IT WAS BRILLIANT!!! Every exhibit was fascinating, and they just kept coming. Little thought around the edges due to their refurbishment, which was mentioned when we paid. I actually didn’t notice. There was too much good stuff to look at! The shop is a vintage movie-toy store geek-treat. Definitely Go!!!!!

    Fantastic day out
We came up from Brighton and I can honestly say the sci museum was everything I hoped it would be and more. Major geek alert this was an awesome couple of hours spent! So much to see and look at we could have looped through several times and I still think you could miss things. I don’t think you need to be a major sci-fi fan to enjoy this. My partner is not massively into sci Fi but he really enjoyed it as there was lots he recognised from the tv and movies! My only complaint and it’s not a complaint was that not everything had an explanation with it. Also we purchased a promo box which is full of promo surprises. I waited till I got home and was not disappointed! (Won’t ruin it by saying what I got) but I was chuffed and def worth the £15 We will definitely be going back 10/10

    Will be back sooner
We first visited in September 2021 when it has just opened. Wow how it has changed. We really enjoyed the expansion of the exhibit and can't wait to visit again to see the next step in this museum. I notice complaints about no photos but, personally, think that's good. Too often do we see exhibition posted all over social media. The selfie zones are a great idea.

    So fun! Lots of props!
So fun!!! What a cool experience. Stuff from Star wars, star trek, labyrinth, the dark crystal, Indiana Jones, marvel, Harry Potter, gremlins, lord of the rings. I wanted to go because of Ludo from Labyrinth and it was so awesome seeing him! You could take a couple pictures at their selfie stations but not throughout the whole museum which was sad but I understand keeping it all a secret!! Highly recommend

Honestly… this was a complete waste of money and time.

The place is a mess, the exhibits have no real order… at one point a Red Dwarf costume was in the middle of a Doctor Who collection. And that’s not the only example of exhibits mixed up.

This has the feel of some guys personal collection rather than a real visitor attraction. A lot of the exhibits look dubious at best, if someone has paid for some of these items I’d say they had been had.

Certainly not worth £15 each for what lasted maybe 30 minutes at most.

The attraction has an arcade built into it. We tried to go in here and we’re stopped. They wanted another £15 (each!) just go to in there too.

Seriously don’t waste your time and money on this!

I was looking for something to do when in MK and of course, planned a trip to Bletchley (tomorrow). By pure chance, I came across this museum. After looking up the reviews, I thought probably wasn’t worth a visit. How wrong was I ! I’ve been to some world class museums (Smithsonian recently) but enjoyed this one just as much:

I should say I’m in my 40s and grew up with Sci-fi in the 80s and beyond. This museum is perfect for folk a bit younger and a bit older (and their kids) - if you aren’t a sci-fi fan you will think it’s overly expensive whereas I would have paid double and thought it decent value. Not sure people appreciate the value of the things on display. I guess if I was going to some museum with content that I had no interest in I would give it a low review even although for some people it would be amazing.

You walk in and there is Indy’s whip, the actual ark of the covenant (the movie one anyway) and it just gets better from there. There are a few reproductions but mainly these are production props including models and costumes used by the actors from a wide range of shows/films including Alien, Highlander, Ant Man, Dr Who, Captain Scarlett, Star Trek, Captain America, Terminator, LOTR and dozens of other seminal sci-if tv shows and films. The Star Wars section is the crown jewel - they have the actual greedo / IG88 / Boosk masks (and a section of the original New Hope script) and a range of other amazing original props. If this place was in London - I think it would be a star attraction (especially with the recent pop culture boom. On a Monday in MK, I had the whole place to myself to see these authentic exhibits. If you are anyway like me and close to MK - it’s a must, if you are in London - it’s worth a trip (even for geeky American tourists given a lot of these US films were filmed in the UK).

A small suggestion for the owner - for those who can’t visualise in our minds eye every costume and prop being used, it would be worth putting a photo (or a tv with clips of the show / film on repeat) with the actors in / holding the displayed prop.

Thank you to the owner for creating this place.
