Great walks

Winter rates £2.60 per car. I think it should be £1 per visit this time of year to help get more people in. The cafe is run separately and very reasonable too. Good play areas... read more

Visited here with friends and our 4 children.....all who had a wonderfully, muddy time! The outdoor gymnasium equipment by the cafe was a real winner with the kids (and us adults) and despite the cold, we spent 3 hours walking and playing before making our way to the cafe - very nice staff, very busy and reasonably priced! Can't wait... More

I am lucky to have this within easy walking distance of my home, but it is worth driving to. A lovely walk round the lakes, play areas for children, and a newly opened cafe which is of a good standard. It is possible also to head off across the fields from Emberton Park, if one wants to extend the walk,... More

A place we use to visit quite often , went again recently on a horrid grey damp day which made the park a dismal looking place . We accessed from Olney rather than park on site to save car parking fees , wheel chair friendly just be warned of the gentle slope if entering same way we did . Tarmac... More

We love emberton park, excellent for a weekend of camping or just for a day out with picnic and games and friends, you can do water sports on the lake and take your own bbqs, dogs are welcome and get very busy so get there as early as you can, you pay to get into the park.

Beautiful setting with level pathways around the lakes mean that this country park is accessible to all. That said, I did turn my ankle on a pot hole at the side so you do still have to be careful. Easy parking but at £4.10 per car it's on the expensive side if it's just you and the dog for an... More

Went here recently to walk my dog, it was a nice area with a lake, and a conservation area. However it was quite small, and taking the long route around it was only 2 miles of walking. Probably would not be rushing back, but can see the appeal for famillies.

A cheap and very good day out. There is plenty to do for kids a good park sandpit and loads of space to run around. You can have a barbecue picnic or there is a small cafe on site

Spent a lovely relaxing afternoon sitting by the lake. Park was really busy with plenty of cars but there was room for everyone. Café is excellent and the prices are reasonable with plenty of choice. £4.10 per car for entry which is very reasonable as you can stay there all day. The toilets by the café were very clean. Ideal... More
