I came up from London to visit friends and thought I'd grab a couple of hours on the ice while I was in MK. I'll start with the price at £13 it's already £4.50 more that my local rink, then it cost you another £1 for a locker which you don't get back. That's not just a little bit more it's a huge amount. If would have been a few quid more if I'd been renting skates too. And then along with the exorbitant price having got there for the first public skate of the day they didn't even bother to cut the ice before it started.

The rink itself is pretty nice but they need a serious price drop if they want people to use it, the rink was pretty empty and there lies your reason. Other than an ice card that you can buy annually they don't see to offer any sort of membership. If I was living in MK and was skating everyday it would cost me a fortune. Baring in mind I live in London where rents are much higher my local rink charges £35 a month for basic public ice membership giving unlimited use. They seem to be more interested in one time skaters that will never go back once they've bee fleeced rather than building a base of regular skaters that are going to come day after day.

Hi,
I booked a birthday party for my daughter yesterday online for Milton Keynes branch. While I was booking for payment , it asked me to register with company. I registered and it asked me username too- (I remember that I did that )and then logged back in to finish my payment .
I kept on waiting last night for confirmation of my booking as I saw money went through from my account. In morning I called then lady told me she will let me know that why I didn't get confirmation. She called me back an hour later and told me that I didn't put my email address which I am so surprised because I logged in last night with same email address.
So, I gave her mine another email address and she said , I will get confirmation .
I waited then I texted her back at 3'o' clock . But still I didn't get. I need my money back. I have changed my plans. I can't spend whole day waiting. I am pretty disappointed.

I’ve been on a few Friday nights to sub zero and we love it! It’s like a club night on ice for the family. Great atmosphere and music. Highly recommend and a great night out.

After paying £2 to park by the venue,
I then got sent a sneaky letter that has charged me another £60-£100 to park there!
It takes so long to return the skates that we ran 15 minutes over, then unknown to us, a crafty private car parking firm film you, then send you a massive car Parking fine of £100 In the post 10 days later!
DONT VISIT THERE As all my friend’s and family won’t,they are so slow in there to return your shoes, then for one minute over the car parking time, they will charge you an extra £100! 👎🏻🤬

Planet patience more like.
Booked a session which was supposed to start at 1.15pm, we were still in the que for skate hire at 1.45!
The session was finishing at 2.45hrs so ended up paying for a good half hour of standing in a que!
Not impressed and now I’ve had a read of the other reviews, it’s their normal routine!
It’s certainly put me off coming back here.
Other ice skating venues don’t have this type of delays getting onto the ice!
And it doesn’t seem like they are in a hurry to change things. I suppose as long as the money is coming in, who cares.

Absolutely terrible experience! From Walking through the door to stepping on the ice took 40 minutes and there is no warning of this when you book, so our group lost 30 minutes of skating time as a result. The Reception area is complete chaos, no one knows where to Queue and having pre booked we still had to stand in the exceptionally long queue. Despite the supposed extra Covid steps they claim to be taking, this does not appear to apply to the check in process as everyone was packed into the booking in area all complaining together.

Then, when I enquired about ordering food, they informed me that they only serve whilst you are on the Ice, the minute the session ends they stop serving food, so having already lost half an hour to the queues we decided not to waste more of our time eating.

Overall a terrible experience that we won’t be repeating.

I've been waiting for a refund since October 2021 because the learn to skate course was so terrible. I was ignored the whole time by the instructor and treated unfairly but that could be a review in itself. I was promised a refund for the terrible service but nothing has been done. I've sent countless emails and had words with reception over the past few months and nothing happens head office won't give refunds. Avoid this place at all costs because even my friends have been waiting months for a refund for their cancelled hockey game.

The ice hockey was great which is why we keep going back however quality of the food on sale inside the venue was poor again e.g. cold burger, so disappointing as bag searched to confiscate anything you have packed yourself. Always feel like I am being had over by Planet Ice especially when they also add admin charge when booking ahead online, buy your ticket in the door. Venue was clean, seating comfortable.

Went to watch the ice hockey and was very disappointed that were no Covid protocols in place. Very congested around the rink and very few masks. They even use the same stamp to stamp everyone’s hands which is very unhygienic. The glass around the rink looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. Finger and hand marks all over them. Rubbish on the floor which is clear that it’s from previous games. Overall the atmosphere of the hockey is great and is fun to watch. Just a shame the hygiene is so poor there. I also think it’s bad that I charge a fee when you buy tickets. Adult tickets isn’t really £14 when they charge you an extra £1.60 for doing nothing?
