Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Have been before and it's good laugh if not too busy and it's dry. Another establishment now not accepting cash, so won't be returning. What a shame!

Great game with the pirate golf course. Fun and very interactive. Hole in one is manageable on some courses better than others. Great fun all around.

Firstly, lets sing the praises of Mr Mulligan's Pirate Golf.

The 18 hole Crazy Golf is excellent, well maintained, challenging and entertaining for all ages.

Foot Golf is also a lot of fun, maybe a little over priced for 9 holes at £50 for a family of 4. You share the 1st 9 hols of their golf course with standard golfers, just aiming for different larger holes. All in all excellent fun for the whole family.

The reception desk were very helpful - I had mistakenly booked for the day before, but they helped out and rescheduled us without a problem.

This would have earned 5 starts - But now lets talk the Bar / Restaurant.

Menu is rather basic but acceptable with something for all of the family, but then it all goes downhill.
We had a couple of questions about some of the dishes and the girl on the till was new and had to ask for assistance from a college, this was ok. We mainly wanted to know if the salmon on the super food salad would be cooked or cold. She "checked with the kitchen" and told us the salmon was the only cooked option on the salad.
Surprise, surprise it turned up with cold salmon on it.
We spoke to a member of staff who seemed more senior, who grabbed a menu, studied it and said "you're wrong it's cold" after a while pointing out her college had spoken to the kitchen and confirmed it would be hot, she offered us chicken on the salad which the chef would be able to do.
As she departed I happened to mention that we hadn't yet received any cutlery which was greeted with sighs and rolling of her eyes.
Anyway, I digress, the salad was eventually returned with warm chicken "lovingly prepared" by the chef. Better know as quickly microwaved to the point it becomes bouncy (could have used earlier that day on the crazy golf as a ball).
Needless to say we gave up at this point as the staff were obviously not trained to deliver quality food in a courteous manner.

The Chicken Tikka Massala was average with rubbery chicken.

The pizzas appear pre-made and cooked when required. The bases used are the stiff cardboard like bread bases, that are frankly chewy and tasteless.

It appears our young lad who had a panini ordered the only thing that was reasonable quality.

All in all, I would recommend the activities, but arrange to eat else where and you will have an excellent day out.

Wifey, myself, friend & friends kid visited and, despite the weather, rain & sleet,we had a whale of a time ! The staff member we met that sorted us out was Uber friendly and the course itself was great fun. Probably the best kids golf I’ve come across in the UK !
We defiantly want to come back in the summer when the weather is nicer and play again.

This was the best crazy golf we had been to, when we go to the coast we always play crazy golf and not knowing that the best was on our doorstep. There is a hard and easier tee for each hole. A rope pull bridge which is great fun. You must visit this crazy golf for any occasion.

The experience was honestly the best crazy golf we have ever done. The course was well maintained, each hole had its quirks including a rope ferry to get to one hole, which was great. We will definitely be back, great value for money

Have been here a couple of times and both times have been really enjoyable. The time it takes can vary depending on how busy it is and on the size of the groups before you, on a warm sunny busy day we completed the 18 holes in 90 minutes. My daughter loved that each hole gives you an opportunity to take an easy or a harder shot. The raft across the water for one of the holes is a lot of fun too. It’s also very Covid safe at the moment, with hand sanitiser at regular intervals and the clubs are sanitised after every use. Definitely recommend to families.

Not bad at all. Had an enjoyable time with the family playing some quite challenging holes and not too many people there. We had to wait a couple of times for larger groups with younger children but it was not problem as the weather was good.

Would recommend this to families with children older than 8/9 as some of the holes were tricky but not a bad 90 minutes of fun at all.

Staff were friendly and good atmosphere at the place in general.

We spent a fun hour on the course. Not the best crazy golf I've ever played but we enjoyed yourself and its clean and well run.
