About
Campbell Park resides in the heart of Milton Keynes and connects the city centre to the wider landscape and the expansive linear park network. Visitors can discover natural and designed topography as well as public art, water features, the Grand Union Canal, a first-class cricket pitch, open-air auditorium and planting designed to encourage biodiversity. It is also home to The Parks Trust headquarters that overlooks a cricket pitch maintained to first-class standard. The park boasts wildflower rich meadows where sheep can be seen grazing at certain times of the year. Scale the belvedere during your visit to take fantastic pictures of the iconic Light Pyramid and enjoy views across North East Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire. Campbell Park was awarded Grade II status by Historic England in August 2020 due to its historic interest and innovative architectural design and is one of the largest parks to be laid out in England in the 20th-21st Century.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great scenic park a stones throw away from the Milton Keynes shoppping centre with links to Gullivers and the new pub Warbler on the Wharf. It's got quiet spots to sit back, read and have time to yourself. They have free roaming sheep at set times in the year. They have festivals here too. It's right next to the new Hotel La Tour as well. Basically a huge park in the MK City Centre

Would not recommend, at night.in the evenings it turns into a dogging site and throughout the day it is filled with teenagers smoking and doing god knows what else.

This is a wonderful park, that extends throughout the borough - taking you to open countryside. There are umpteen walkways and cycle paths to the various lakes and woods. Sheep roam in parts and you can reach the Grand Union Canal tow path, which is great for walking. There is a large collection of sculptures including the beautiful Milton Keynes Rose. There are plenty of free car parks nearby where you can access the park from different parts of Milton Keynes.

Since lockdown I've visited Campbell Park a number of times, there are lots of different things to see around such as the light pyramid and the MK rose. Worth a visit!

Had a great walk round here with the leaves changing colour,
Very interesting looking at all the dates in the circle
Good paths, some a bit steep for wheelchairs but that is to be expected.

I discovered Campbell Park while looking for a good place for a morning run in Milton Keynes. Very good paths, both soft and hard surfaces. I met a few cyclist who were very polite. Big park, varying views and nature. There is a large open space that must be a nice place for special events.

Having lived in the area for over 30 years, we only ‘discovered’ Campbell Park’ earlier this year. Wandering through the woods and across grassy swathes, we could have been deep in the country. Reality is that you are just a short walk from the shopping centre and all the amenities on offer in Central Milton Keynes. It was a beautiful sunny day and a game of cricket was in progress. Very impressive.
However, we went back in autumn and found even more to explore (memorial was lovely and great to wander around reading all the columns).
Definitely recommend for a different perspective of Milton Keynes. Go see for yourself.

Visited the Indian Mela with Dancing and Colour Fest. Campbell Park has special events from time to time. There is a stage and amphitheatre. Special areas to visit. In the middle of MK but you would not know it!

Beautiful park near the Grand Union Canal. Great place to go with the kids, to walk the dog, look at the canal boats. And not too far from the town centre either. car parking was free but can imagine it gets full quickly as not very big

Campbell is beautiful, I was wondering if there is any good spots for views from your car there? Like Dunstable downs.

Only option is go to the top of the La Tour Hotel and look over Campbell Park. There is the top of the hill in Campbell Park but nothing for cars l.

I would say allow good 2-3 hours to walk from one side to the other and back. This wouldn't include stopping breaks which you may have at the pub or for a picnic. It's a lovely walk tho!

Park next to the Grand Union Canal at the bottom of Campbell Park. There’s usually space and it’s free.
