We had a very interesting stroll around the Abbey, the information posted up around the abbey was very helpful and we thought this a worthwile destination. The only downside was the sound of a cockerel echoing around the building from a TV info screen in one corner of the Abbey.

We really loved this place. There was just so much to see in this wonderful building. Take a camera, you will want to look at these details again when you get home

Most beautifull abbey. Peacefull. Nearly every weekend concert, and the evensong was with a wonderful choir.

This is a lovely place that is well looked after and has some beautiful stained glass windows. It relies on donations and is well worth a look with plenty of historic information.

I love Tewkesbury Abbey. Standing at the end of my road, I consider it the biggest and best alarm clock I've ever had. Every bit as beautiful and majestic as a Cathedral, it looms over Tewkesbury like a grand monolith. Its proximity to my home enables frequent visits and it never fails to feel like an extension of my sitting... More

This is a must to visit when in the town The site is packed with historical artefacts etc which give a feeling of history within the Abbey. The downside is where the secular elements creep in which do not sit well with such a devoutly religious Abbey. There needs to be less commercialisation and more set aside for the Abbey's... More

We live not far from the Abbey, and go past every week, but have not been in for almost 40 years until now! Every bit as stunning as I remember, and certainly wont leave it another 40 years before visiting again!!
