Love this place. Been going for nearly fifty years now. Lovely sloping lawns to roll eggs at Easter. Gentle tree lined walk along the river Ribble. Lovely managed old trees adding to the landscape. Just a lovely retreat to relax.

I always love visiting Avenham and Miller parks! So full of nature, history and beautiful scenery. There are many surprises and secrets to check out, so save plenty of time and try to check out every inch of this amazing place!

Love this park, spent s lot of time hear with the dogs over the years. Well kept, and loving the new orienteering exercise.Lovely cafe, very family and dog friendly. Staff are well trained and very polite. Lovely food and cakes, and great coffee.

Yes there's also a large playground in between Miller park and avenham park just follow the path down the river past the bridge and it will appear on your left

There are no fixed facilities there and I don't know the regulations regarding portable barbecues.. Sorry I can't be of more help. Perhaps you could contact the town hall or local tourist information.
