Love this place. Been going for nearly fifty years now. Lovely sloping lawns to roll eggs at Easter. Gentle tree lined walk along the river Ribble. Lovely managed old trees adding to the landscape. Just a lovely retreat to relax.

I always love visiting Avenham and Miller parks! So full of nature, history and beautiful scenery. There are many surprises and secrets to check out, so save plenty of time and try to check out every inch of this amazing place!
It's a beautiful place to visit, especially in Spring and Summer, but be careful on the path along the Ribble, especially the more narrower parts, as some cyclists seem to think they can speed along this area with no consideration for others. Most are courteous...More

Love this park, spent s lot of time hear with the dogs over the years. Well kept, and loving the new orienteering exercise.Lovely cafe, very family and dog friendly. Staff are well trained and very polite. Lovely food and cakes, and great coffee.
Parks are adjacent and you will probably not realise you have transferred from one to the other. Situated along the river Ribble they offer scenic walks with sloping walkways up towards the city centre from where they're easily accessible.
