Overview
More
Disc Golf involves throwing specially designed flying discs (like Frisbees)into a metal basket. The long course has 18 holes of approx 90m. The short course has 16 holes of approx 50m. Trees and bushes have been strategically planted to add to the challenge. Beginners are welcome, you can have a great time even if your your score is not so great! If we don't have customers waiting then we will be happy to get out of the shop and give you some pointers on technique. Ground conditions vary across the course and according to season and weather. Trainers are generally fine for the short course in summer; walking boots or wellies are generally a good idea if playing the long course in winter. At present facilities are very basic - a field shelter, an eco-toilet, and a pro-shop in a shipping container.

When I visited with two friends for the first time in August 2017, and was greeted by the most lovely host (Derek) little did I know that I had found my newest obsession. Disc golf is a sport that anyone can play, that even the...More

Thank you for posting a review. It's always gratifying to hear that people enjoy the game and the surroundings. Don't worry, I won't double the annual fee just yet :-)

Had the best time, such a fun and innovative game! Amazing grounds with lovely courses. A great activity to do especially in the sun and if you’re a little bit competitive. Also great as a couples activity date.

Quarry Park is slowly becoming our second home! My children think it’s great and it’s a perfect activity for an hour or two anytime. Derek, the owner is a most genial host and really helpful in giving tips.

Found this place on tripadvisor and thought we’d give it a go. It’s well worth a visit. Played on the short course and was great fun. Would recommend wearing wellies or outdoor shoes though as quite muddy.

Thank you for the review :-) There was a lovely sunset over the flooded course, but do come back again when the leaves are out and the ground is drier, it will be even more beautiful!

Its essentially golf with frisbees! Far more fun than golf, and something a bit different. Instruction given to novices, and a cheap day out (cost was only £5 per person)

It’s great to try something new! I’m rubbish at golf, I’m rubbish at throwing the frisbee and I was pretty hopeless at disc golf too. But I still really enjoyed it! Nice facilities, friendly staff, pleasant setting and excellent value for money! Looking forward to...More

I'm not keen on having dogs on the course, but if owners and dogs are well behaved then I do allow. In practical terms that means keeping the dog on a lead at ALL times, taking away any mess, no biting of discs, no... More
