Lovely place to go for a drink. Beer is tasty. Relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Everybody is really kind and friendly to each other, has a real community feel to it. Looking forward to seeing what the refurb brings!

Old school vibe and the snug is lovely and cosy. Many traditional features make for an interesting atmosphere and the live music is excellent. Great selection of great beer too! Guinness is outstanding, highly recommended!

What a gem of a pub the Somerville is and always has been. It's largely unchanged despite some changes in management. Has a very genuine bar where punters still play darts! There is a small but very comfortable lounge at the back. A catering vehicle is invariably parked outside so hot food is readily available.

I used to love this pub, friends suggested we go the pub quiz several years ago and we've been going ever since. Unfortunately (for us, great for them), the landlord retired at the end of November 2019 and whilst I completely understand the new owners want to put their own stamp on the place, it's unfortunately changed what used to be a lovely traditional, cosy pub to be like every other bar in Leamington.
A tv showing sky sports has been installed in the main bar, music is now playing, the walkers crisps have been replaced with Kettle chips and CocaCola / RWhites replaced with some other brand (didn't figure out what it was).
The pub quiz host has also retired (good luck Pip, it really isn't the same without you) and the lovely cosy pub which was great for relaxing and chatting with friends is no more.
I wish the owners the best of luck but it's not for me.
Now begins the search for a replacement which I've no doubt will be hard as the Sommerville was unique among the myriad of choices in Leamington.

A lovely friendly pub run by two great lads, this has become a real asset to the neighbourhood since the management changed. Good selection of drinks at very reasonable prices. The Greek food van is pretty great also. Very dog friendly.

One of the best pubs in Leamington, in a lovely part of town. Great beers. Real Ales and range of lagers and ciders. Lovely feel and atmosphere in the lounge and the bar areas. Friendly locals and a great mix of people. Recently Added a garden room and courtyard as well as seats out front. Dog friendly. Matt the landlord always welcoming.

This is a great little local pub. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The cocktails and Greek food were excellent. We were on a short break holiday to Leamington and will definitely be back. The Summerville will be top of our list to revisit.

Horrible pub mainly due to the atmosphere of bar flies drinking their lives into oblivion. It must be a landlords 'dream to house so many of Leamington's heavy drinkers and great for profits. I cannot ever imagine the landlord saying sorry mister you have had quite enough. I wonder what the consequences could be though for those at home though. Poor quality wine and a lousy cover band with a dreadful vocalist. Avoid!!! there are much nicer pubs within Leamington that are more women friendly. I do not understand why people enjoy it here. Each to their own but I would avoid at all cost.

A brilliant traditional pub! If you want a quality drink and good company, then the Sommerville is the place to go. I've spent entire evenings debating and laughing there with friends- and strangers who became friends! Wouldn't imagine going anywhere else now. There's some music regularly and for all tastes, classic rock or flamenco. The atmosphere is worthy of a family, the landlord and all the locals will win your heart before you know it :)

'Tis a shame, we really could like this pub, our but we both think that the landlord is placing his pets before his business.
The outside looks very inviting and warm, but when we opened the main door to the bars, our olfactory senses were overwhelmed with the unpleasant odour of cat food, which came from the two bowls inside the main entrance.
This is a real problem for us, as we wish to support our local presurance resources.
The ales and beers are all first class, but is pailed into insignificance by the landlord's obvious, selfish love of bird murders.
