See the network of underground canal routes that helped form the industrial Black Country and marvel at the fantastic Limestone Caverns. Enjoy a canalside walk or relaxing boat trip, and admire the local history. See if you can spot any of the limestone fossils remaining from when the area was below sea, and explore the Dudley Tunnel - don't be startled by the bats!

Really enjoyed this. But unless you are at front of boat you don't get to appreciate the architecture. Enjoyed the legging though.

Very good infirmative journey by canal narrow boat into renovated canals and chambers of the now disused Dudley limestone mines. Excellent 45 mins.

Took our 2 year old and she loved wearing a helmet, the dark tunnels and light show. Was a rainy Sunday morning but as the trip is all in tunnels we stayed dry. Commentary and videos were fascinating. Decent cafe too.

I came across this also whilst at the Black Country Living museum. Trip was great. Matt (the skipper) put everyone at ease and told us all about the trust itself, the mines and the miners. Lots of things to see as you go through the...More

Had been advised to add this trip to our visit to the museum. Very informative ride along the canal. Our guide was very good with his tales, anecdotes and jokes. Well worth the extra cost
