The tunnels and caverns are so amazing not something you would expect to find in the middle of a town. You can even volunteer to leg the boat. Highly recommended

Visited as part of going to the Black Country Living museum and would recommend. A really interesting experience journeying through some of the tunnels and caves made during the days of the mining industry. Good value and the running commentary from our driver was great...More

Did not realise the canal trust was so close to the black country living museum. The tour guide narrative was very good and interesting as are the tunnels. Well worth the visit.

We had an interesting trip on the canal into the lime stone mines which was a bonus while visiting the museum.

We found this lovely canel trip wandering through the Black Country living museum, it was most fascinating lasting about 45 mins, the guide was most informative, the caves lovely with a light show. Wear a warm coat as it gets cold in the caves.

It has been a few years since my last visit to the Dudley canal, but I found that the experience of the visit totally worth-while and interesting.

Having taken a trip through the tunnels in 1984 I still remembered the moment when the guide shut the engines and 2 of my friends attempted to "leg" the boat along the tunnel. Jumping onto the boat I mentioned to our guide that I was...More

A facinating 45 minute trip on a narrow boat through some of the canal system tunnels beneath the Black Country. The guide, also piloting the boat, was both knowledgeable & amusing. May be a little scary for some young ones as some of the tour...More
