Undoubtedly the adverse weather was one of this reasons the event felt empty, add to that the ‘okay’ food and now you’re trying your best to find something positive. The group of people there were great.

Lovely walks, easy or hard. Woodland to explore and a boating lake. Very pleasant in spring, summer and autumn.

Visited Himley Hall Park to take my dog for a walk with my family. We walked round the lake. Just beautiful and peaceful. We ended with a smashing ice cream from the van by the car park.

Entry to park is free but you do have to pay for special events. There is a car parking fee also which is fairly reasonable.

Himley estate has a cafe in the grounds were you can get refreshments but there is no accommodation there. There is accommodation at Himley house and Himley country club.
