I was so excited to return here as I have many fond memory's of spending days out here when I was a child. I was so disappointed, it's awful truly awful. The animals don't look well maintained, the staff aren't the friendliest, everywhere you look needs some kind of repair but nothing seems to be done. We first visited when... More

Visited on a Sunday with 3 small children. First annoyance was that they do not accept debit cards so I had to drive back to the nearest bank to draw cash out (the man on the till was very nice, helpful and apologetic). You can buy animal food and feed some of the animals which was fun. There was a... More

I remember coming here as a child when it was cotwall end. It now charges a small fee to go in. We also brought some food for the animals which was very reasonably priced. There are lots of animals to feed but the site seems a lot smaller than I remembered. The pens for the analysis need some attention as... More

We visited Brockswood last week for a family day out. We have visited this place years ago when it still went as Cottwell End, and to say we were disapointed on this visit is an understatement. We paid a small charge to get in, and also bought food for the animals. the only animals we saw, were ducks, chickens, a... More

Had a great day with my daughter, who loved being able to feed and strock some of the animals. The grounds have improved since our last visit which has been several years ago and the park and cafe are handy to keep them entertained too.

Visited on our daughters birthday. We have 4 younger children with the eldest being 11 and the youngest 3 . Had a lovey couple of hours. Certain areas could do with improvement e.g grass and weeds need cutting and tidying up. But as the place works on donations it's understandable. Also the park could be made better with more things... More

Again this is a place i have known since a child and have taken my children in the past, Unfortunately it is no longer council subsidized and has fallen into a little bit of disrepair. The guys who run it are doing their best but as with everything it all takes money. Come on people go visit and give them... More

Desperately needs funding. Many parts closed and needing work done. Animals are lovely. Woukd be a great place to take small children. Really needs a big injection of cash. Go and support them.

This place as not changed in the last ten years and for ten years have gave out a newsletter saying they are trying to "restore place to its former glory" i think to do this it needs blowing up!! They have made no improvement at all. I found the conditions of the animals enclosures discusting, overgrown with nettles all of... More
