- Angela G1 contributionBrilliant placeWonderful and welcoming place. Owners are friendly and helpful. The food is great and the Milkshakes are the best I've had. There are so many games to choose from, if you're not sure of how to play a game then Rachel and James are happy to teach you. The social gaming events, quiz nights and bingo nights are such fun, a great opportunity to meet new people or spend time with old friends or family. This is a safe space for everyone and I can't recommend it enough. Pop in for a visit, you will be so glad you did.Visited January 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 5 January 2023
- susanwilliams6Huntingdon, United Kingdom2 contributionsFantastic, you must visit!Fantastic place. Our first visit to a board game cafe and we felt very welcome. Staff were on hand to help with games if we got confused (we did!!!). The tea was in big mugs and tasted great, toasted sandwiches, fries and a choc cherry muffin were yummy too! We went back again the following day as we'd enjoyed it so much. Plenty of games available for all age ranges and gaming experience. Wish we lived closer! We went here for the first time this Saturday. The staff were super friendly. There is an amazing range of games. The staff helped us out with finding games and how to play them. The drinks were lovely and the food looked nice. We didn't eat there but will next time. A great afternoon out for less than £20! Bargain! Will be visiting again 😀

We had a fabulous time at Bake Battle and Roll. It was our first visit and we had so much fun. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They were able to recommend games for us and they even got us started explaining the rules etc so that we didn’t have to spend a long time reading and interpreting the instructions. We also enjoyed milkshakes and paninis. We will definitely be visiting again very soon. Thank you for a lovely experience.

This board game cafe, although on the smaller side to ones I've visited before, is easily one of the best laid out and comfortable cafes I've gone too. Staff at this board game cafe instantly make you feel welcome, the displays are creative and inclusive, and the menu has multiple vegan/veggie options.
The way their boardgames are shelved are designed to find games that are appropriate for who you are with, this felt really accessible so you didn't spend too much time deciding on games!
Also, showed that they had multiple events coming up. It seems like the perfect place to go with friends and to make them!

Staff were friendly and helpful, even going so far to pick out a selection of board-games for us. There was a wide selection of board games.
Food was acceptable, but certainly not the highlight. However, the drinks were lovely.
As we visited on a quiet day, we were allowed to stay for several hours.
They had a lovely painted model display.

Came in today for social gaming after being stood up for movie date, was tempted to try the new chips they are looking to add to menu and was pleasantly surprised with how nice they were. Would definitely recommend people to come and try them, the food is always delicious and the hand made milkshakes divine.
