Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

For the hotels: a Very nice Family resort hotel with all the 21st-century amenities expected from a family resort hotel.
Amenities and Facilities include :
- Smart TV which has YT, Netflix, Spotify and Freeview for Family and Kids to enjoy in the evening
- House Brand Coffee for all the coffee lovers
- Comunal Microwave, Vending machine and Ice Machine which as far I know outside of East Asia were unique to this hotel
- Super Friendly and Experienced staff who stands by in the property 24/7

For the Bistro: - Seven stars services from the staff who goes above and beyond when the drink on my original order was apparently sold out, he lets me substitute it with any other drink with no extra charge + being refunded for the Drink which was sold out
- Seven stars Food, whilst the food portion may vary depending on what was being ordered, the Quality of the ingredients used on the food was simply beyond this planet
- Seven-star atmosphere, The Bistro is a very comfortable place to have a long evening chat

For the Park: A great Family attraction especially if the kids love exotic animals.

We walked around here after visiting the Yorkshire Wildlife Park and having lunch at Evolution. Nice open air centre to walk round, with plenty of interesting and individual shops. Pleasant way to spend an hour or 2.

Quirky pod like shops that sell the likes of quirky gifts mainly made by Yorkshire/independent creators/businesses, restaurants and cafes, kids play area, pet boutique and much more!

It’s a lovely place to visit and adds a lot to the Wildlife Park experience and Doncaster itself!

I have been to the Wildlife Park a few times over the years but had not been since they introduced the new entrance and The Hive.
Decided on a visit with my Mum to The Hive and WOW!
Lovely place, all local independent shops which we loved having a look round, all had very friendly staff.
Stopped for coffee at the Cornerhouse and then later had lunch at Wilds Bistro.
Excellent service from both, coffee very nice and the food at Wilds Bistro was delicious. We both had soup of the day which was presented with lovely fresh varieties of bread, some warm. We sat looking out at the Wildlife park which was lovely.

We loved it and will definitely return to The Hive, we spent around 4 hours there, we do love to browse though and didn’t rush through.

Definitely worth a visit and does not have to be when you are visiting the Wildlife Park.

Some lovely shops to have a look in, various play areas for kids, big wheel was great fun and amazing views and well priced at £5 adults £4 children. It went round twice. The themed restaurant was amazing and other areas to eat too. Definitely worth having a walk round and looking in all the outlets.

I stayed at the hotel by the park for one night. The suite is beautifully designed and in good condition. There’s a weird check in system of getting your key in a separate building and then walking over to the hotel, which has no real lobby or “on site” staff, so it feels a bit spooky. The room’s balcony was comfortable but don’t expect any view of the park, but it was nice to hear primates and lions around twilight. Unfortunately you can also hear the awful noises of the fake dinosaurs during park hours, more loudly.

Despite the room’s attractiveness, it got swelteringly hot in the evening (this was during warming weather but not the recent heatwave), so I couldn’t sleep. I put on the aircon but it was unusually loud, so still I didn’t sleep well and had to use earplugs.

The bistro gave me the buffet breakfast I paid for with the room. I usually look forward to a hearty hotel breakfast with low expectations, but I couldn’t eat it - everything was room temperature and gone tough. I filled up on granola instead.

Appearances are a plus, but unfortunately I’ve had better stays and breakfasts at much cheaper hotels…! Disappointing and I can’t recommend it unless you’re travelling very far to the wildlife park and have little choice.

Fantastic place to visit, restaurants, one is a dinosaur themed restaurant, excellent place to dine, children loved it. There is another restaurant which is more upmarket and quiet. Beautiful shops, an outdoor entertainment area which had shows on all day. Children's indoor play area which was very good. Big wheel, trampolines .
We can't wait to return.

As part of the wildlife park, you have to walk through it to get to the park entrance and back through it to the car park when you leave. I love that the shops are all independent retailers, selling local products, some of which are handmade.

It's not somewhere you would go to just visit, it's certainly something that is part of the park experience, but the sweet shop, photography shop, and the brewery are certainly places to visit if you find yourself here.
