Winter/Covid update Nice park with a lake, café (closed during the winter), public toilets etc. There are free exercise machines and a place for kids to play

Walk around this park every week and find it very well kept and always look good. Has a cafe but currently closed due to just take away but don’t understand why it isn’t open. Geese and ducks are a plenty. Ice cream van and a play ground for the kids.

Just a quick visit after looking online 👍👀 . A well kept park with plenty of activities for children. Fishing is allowed also on the Lake ... don't know if charges apply 🙄 . It was easy to park on the main road , allowing a 3 hour stay if needed . Did see a Cafe on the park side but didn't use .…

It may be in need of renovating, but they still offer great value for money and the food, though basic is actually very good. A great menu at exceptional prices. Don’t be snobby, give it a try.

Same as anywhere if the weather is nice its boosts the experience. An abundance of duck and swan droppings, its a work of art keeping clear of it. Nice cafe on the grounds, basic but good.
