Sandall Park is probably the best park for miles around, it has a good sized lake that has a walk way all round it, with occasional coppices to give it some character. There are large flat grass sections for games and 2 main children's play...More

Nice play area for kids. Lake used for fishing and could do with a good clean out in some parts. Plenty of water birds . Good walk if you do a few circuits! Worth a visit.

Haven't been here since we used to go rowing on the "boating lake" as kids. What a dump ! The paths are difficult to walk on. They are covered in animal droppings, and the whole place stinks! Will not be going back again !More

It's a shame you feel that the park is "a dump" as our volunteers work tirelessly to maintain the park and provide a welcoming place for visitors. All of the time they give (some are in the park almost every day of the year) complements...More

Don't judge this place by its external appearance. Inside it is clean and comfortable. The food is hot and tasty. Great value for money.

Sandal Park not quite as good as in the late eighty and early ninth. Such a shame because of so many ducks and swans the grass areas always covered with their mess. And the water area can do with good cleaning.
