This facility is good for all age groups, nie walk around the lake, play equipment for the youngsters and lots of open space for ball games, kite flying etc. The café has a good range of drinks and basic food.

Thank you for your lovely review! It's always great to see people enjoying the park and its facilities - many of which are available thanks to hard work (both physical and "back office (e.g. fundraising for equipment)) from volunteers. Friends of Sandall Park

Sandal park takes me back to when my children were small, when the boats were there, this park needs to bring them back, you can have lovely picnics here.

We're glad to hear you're enjoying the park. As a group of volunteers we've worked so hard to restore some of it's former glory and will continue to do so. Friends of Sandall Park

Thank you for your review! Did you know that the benches (cost c£1000) are purchased by our volunteer organisation and it takes about a year to raise the funds? we're glad to see them being enjoyed by park users. Friends of Sandall Park

I have been visiting the park for over 60 years. It is an island of tranquillity just outside the town. The star attraction is the little cafe. Wonderful, plentiful, inexpensive traditional food.
