Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I visited on 02/09/2023 with my family to go shopping. I'm severely disabled yet parked in a regular bay still displaying my blue badge and revived a £100 fine today. I've appealed this notice as It's shocking how they're fining customers to park in a FREE car park. Looking through these reviews it's happened plenty of times. As a regular customer to the lakeside I Won't be returning aswell as I won't be paying the fine. Its a FREE car park as it states on their Website.

Clean and had a lot of shops. We spent a whole day here and didnt even get chance to play the free mini golf. A good range of shops. Managed to get our sons school shoes from Clarkes and trainers from Sports Direct. Goodies available from the Cadbury shop to the sweet emporium. Would definitly return if in the area.

Low expectations of McDonald’s to start. This one lowers the bar further! Half the order missing, what’s was collected was stone cold on arrival 4 home 4 mins later. Not even professional enough to answer phone.

Found everything I wanted and some surprises too. Not to big as to be unpleasant to walk round but loads of ideas shops as well, as some favourite. Good clean toilets and there is even a warm space hub

Etto is an independent brasserie located in Lakeside Outlet Village, Doncaster and we have been going there for some time now and always thoroughly enjoy what they have to offer, and this time was no exception.
It was a Friday lunchtime in March and as always the place was rammed, which is always a good sign, but we managed to find a table for the two of us. I ordered at the counter and the teas, good old Yorkshire Tea (none of your catering quality) was delivered to our table quickly.
I ordered the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with avocado on sourdough bread and my wife chose the spicy chicken wrap. Despite the number of people in the restaurant the food arrived quickly and was piping hot.
The scrambled eggs were light and creamy and the smoked salmon and avocado were placed to one side of each other on the eggs. Mrs Wanderer was delighted with her chicken wrap and said that, unlike offerings from other outlets, it was light and tasty and had a good amount of heat.
As I say I can’t fault Etto and it is the place to eat at if you ever find yourself at the outlet village. I thoroughly recommend it!

Clean, friendly lots of fun.
I did notice though a lot of the same type of shops cook shops, furniture, sport ware, was nice to find a proper weird fish shop.
Lots of good Barrow type food retailers as it was close to Xmas..
But I didn't really find it that cheap....
The Victoria Cross place was excellent..
Nice day to wander and shop

Went as we were going to concert at stadium and we just wanted a wander. It’s years since we last visited and I thought it was bigger than it was. Varied kinds of shops but nothing special or different to other places like J32 and a bit of a let down.

It's OK as parking is plentiful and free. However we struggle to spend more than 1 hour there. Shops are varied, but realistically not much cheaper than non- outlet shops. I've bought Rowallan bags for much better prices on-line and more choice than Baggage Company.
I have large feet and find Clarks and Pavers rubbish for anything over a size 7.
Gift Company good for diffusers, but never has the fragrance I like.
The Works is good for art and activities for kids.
Cadbury shop has masses and masses of the same thing.
Plus things are free parking, few eating places, things for kids to do, always clean and plenty of toilets.

Yes but you would be restricted inside many shops.
