It was my son Leo's birthday on the 7th, so we invited some of his friends to build a buddy on the 5th at Astrabound. These wonderful ladies couldn't do enough for us and made sure we were looked after. One lady in particular, Laura, made sure we got what we needed to take 2 buddies home, being as 2 kids couldn't come to Leo's party. Fab time had by all and would highly recommend. Found out about term time deals where a child can play and eat for £10. Deffo see you soon!!!

Me and my 8 month old son had an enjoyable experience at Astrabound. We went on a quiet week day morning so no older children running around getting in my son's way. The new baby sensory room is brilliant. You have to book a 15 min time slot so you get private use of the room. It was my son's favourite part. It's a little quiet escape away from the madness of the pay pits. We will definitely be returning.

Horrible place staff are miserable from the moment you walk through the door it’s as though they can’t be bothered.
We went with younger children to use the baby area but there were older children in there doing as they please, staff weren’t interested, so the babies can’t actually play in the baby section due to the older kids taking over. Waste of money we stayed about 10 minutes and left.

A really good soft play area with separate areas for under 5s and 5-12 ages. Impressed that accompanying adults only have to pay £1 to go in too.

The food was surprisingly good for this sort of venue!

Really impressed with the size and variety of play! The toddler area is particularly impressive with a lot more to it than toddler areas in other soft play centres I've visited. Our 2yo certainly didn't get bored and try to follow his older brother into the big play area anyway. Looking forward to returning in the future!

The manageress at this appalling establishment gets her kicks from making kids cry and when confronted about her abuse of power continues her bullying by stealing your money! I only visited this place as one of my children were attending a birthday party and I paid for my second child! All was fine until this woman abused my child and had him bawling his eyes out and shaking he was terrified of her when I confronted her she became more and more aggressive towards me and my son and said it was her right to do as she liked to kids in the play area and if I didn't like it I should leave so I asked for my money back and I would leave once I had taken my other child out of the party she was enjoying with her friends! She said all my money would be at the check inn desk when I left I could collect it but a totally different story once I'd upset my daughter by pulling her out of a party I get to the desk and no refund and a mob of staff all causing a scene shouting and upsetting my children again! I would avoid this place at all costs a person who does and thinks like that should never be allowed near children let alone in a position with authority/ supervision I certainly won't visit this place ever again!

I visited today with my 10 month old as I had seen online that they have a designated baby area for under 2s. Unfortunately our play time was limited as parents and staff seem to think it’s acceptable to allow older children to run riot in there! The baby area is only small yet there were at least 5 children aged around 7+ leaping and dive bombing into the tiny ball pit. It just wasn’t safe to be in there with a small child. My little boy almost got trampled a few times. The larger under 4s area seemed almost empty in comparison so why they felt it necessary to play in the baby area I do not know! No idea what any of their parents were doing and staff seemed to turn a blind eye. The sensory room was out of order too but looked to be the size of a small box. Luckily it’s free for under 1s but I definitely wont be paying £5.50 to go back when he does turn 1!

Absolutely disgraced at the 5th Birthday party I booked for my 5 year old. We arrived and informed them of the names of children attending and from that moment there seemed to be condfusion from staff over who was attending. We sat at our table with the name of my daughter placed in the middle and with 4 other parties at different tables. We sent the children to play and awaited instruction from staff as to what we needed to do when. This never came all we had for 1.45 hours was some drinks and cups placed on the table. I booked the photo booth party which included 1 hour of play, 30 minutes in the dico room with photo booth and 30 minutes for food and cake. It was nearly 6 pm when we asked what was happening at the food bar and no one knew what was happening. We explained the party we had booked and nothing as of that time had happened. We were then asked who is your party host and we said what party host we haven't had one. My daughter and her friends were so tired at this point they needed to eat. We had to wait for the food area to be readied and food to be prepared. We sat down in the party area and finally the children were fed and my daughters cake was brought out. We were asked 5 minutes after the children had started to eat very hot food if they were ready for their pudding because they were trying to rush everyone because of there mistake. The party girl said this a few times and each time I said no but in the end agreed because my friends needed to get their children home. We did not get the time in the photo booth or disco room so this left a very upset birthday girl. Responsibility of this was down to poorly managed staff that didn't have any idea of how to organise anything and when we were told the party host was at fault we said surely the party host and supervisor are at fault because if the supervisor had done her job she would have known we didn't have a party host. This is what happens when you leave young people to run a business. I know this may not stop anyone going but if you read this don't book a party because this could happen to your child which would be awful. The supervisor was arguing with the party host in front of us yet again showing how unprofessional this establishment is. A young girl and her friend's were expecting a fun and exciting birthday party but instead got a badly managed flat experience that left all that came upset. This party cost £137.50 and for that sort of money I was expecting a great party not this. The worst part of it all was when we said we wanted a refund as it was so dreadful we were told we would have to come back and talk to the manager. So not only did they ruin this for my daughter I have to make the effort to return and try to get a refund for a party that didn't deliver any of the experience I booked.

I love astrabound as it's a safe play area for my baby.

She can crawl and climb without getting hurt in the padded baby play area.

The only downside is other kids, which is not astrabound fault. Not that I want the play area to myself as my baby loves to watch other children. It's the older children who for some reason like to play in the Baby area. They run around, jump and swing about regardless of any babies crawling around.

My daughter has been knocked down by a boy jumping on her. I've also seen other kids getting injured by older kids. I tend to avoid visiting out of school hours.

Astrabound do try to control this. I was there once in half term (big mistake) and the staff were telling parents to make sure their children were in the play area suitable for their age but it didn't change anything.
