Brilliant staff, so friendly andngappy to help massive shout out to Jamie for he's hosting so nice, and Sam for the amazing cocktails. Such a brilliant place be sure to go.

Hidden gem. We had a great night and we were made to feel extremely welcome. Great drinks, with great atmosphere. We will see you all again soon. .

Shocking customer service. Cannot actually believe how our group of 6 friends were just treated in there. One of our party ‘upset’ the DJ by asking him to play some song. An absolutely ridiculous eviction of our entire party ensued, even though the rest of us were completely oblivious to the ‘eviction’ by a bar tender, and we were having fun dancing. We were treated like idiots , and we are actually a really good bunch of nice people. Even the security staff were confused as to why a group of 6 people who’d already spent a fortune in there were being kicked out. They were really apologetic and as confused as we were. It was embarrassing and unnecessary. We were fair regulars of your bar and would often choose to come after our meals out, never again . Embarrassing on every level. With so many brilliant bars in Mcr you will struggle with the the reputation you deserve Arcane, especially if you treat your customers like you treated us tonight. I’d appreciate an explanation and apology from the mgmt if they ever read these reviews.

We had an absolutely great time here celebrating our friends 18th birthday. The ambience was great but the staff really made the trip! The bartenders did great dealing with all of our off menu requests but hands down the waiter was amazing. The guy with the mullet and frosted tips who served us was a real one. He was such a great server and dealt with all of our requests brilliantly - he even got the reference for our wet pussy shots and gave us a great experience all round. He was so kind and should definitely get a raise - even though we live 2 hours away we definitely plan on returning! 10/10 would recommend!!!!!!!

Visited Arcane on Saturday for a pre-theatre cocktail. Drinks took so long to arrive that we barely had time to enjoy. Due to how long drinks took to arrive / lack of staff near our table, we settled up the bill at the bar. Upon leaving Ben questioned whether we’d paid in a rather accusing tone. (Fair enough I guess if it’s normally done at the table). I politely told him we’d paid at the bar but he didn’t believe it. Kept pushing the point and asked a further 2 times if everyone in our party of 5 had paid. It got to the point where I had to move to one side to complain.. He had an extremely rude tone throughout and we were made to feel like we were in the wrong. When his colleague came over to verify that we had Infact paid, he just stood there with a smug smile. Would never re visit and would advise against going. Also seems very over priced. 2x Cocktails, 2x G&T and 2 pints cost £57. There are much friendlier and less over priced places to visit in the city.

Were fantastically well looked after by the team on a busy Saturday night. We’d booked for a birthday treat (started at the Washhouse) and the team were great from booking online to table service and then as the evening moved on and the music revved up let us older folk get our groove on.

This is a fun little bar, underground as you drop down the steps and it’s incredible. Music is beyond perfect and great place to have a dance. Love it Comes alive around 11:00

Called in just before a meal, lovely romantic ambient bar. We called for happy hour. They only do one cocktail on happy hour, would be nice if there was more on offer, so only stayed for 1 then left
