Been to Manchester many, many times especially to Band on the Wall and often passed this pub which was run down and then closed. What a revelation to find it has now been refurbished and it's now a great craft bar establishment with great staff,...More

Still a great pub offering a great selection of ales both cask and keg, I have been going in here for over 30 years and it has been extended in the last few years, but the quality of the ales are still very good

We had this pub on our Ale trail listing and called in to check it out. Bright, modern, spacious and welcoming with good beer selection.

A nicely styled retro pub with a good selection of beer. Comfortable retro seating. Its a bit different to the run of the mill pub but that make it stand out. Very good pork pies too.

We use this pub reasonably often and it is a safe bet. Being on the edge of the northern Quarter it is a bit off the beaten track and therefore tends to attract a more mature crowd. It has a laid-back and friendly atmosphere and...More

We have never been let down by the beer here. The snacks and particularly the pickled eggs are excellent. We have enjoyed every band that has played on Sunday afternoons. Newspapers are available plus there is a range of seating options. Altogether a really enjoyable...More
