Such a fun experience.... the perfect way to discover Manchester and of course its food! Rob is a fab tour guide. Highly recommend the event. Would love to try the Ancoats event too.

What a brilliant idea! Had the best time! A great excuse to dip in and out of establishments unbeknownst to me, even in my 15 years living in Manchester. Food was well chosen, authentic and delicious. Rob catered for veggy/gluten free options too! Enjoyed the walking tour just as much with references to street art, and the city's history, delivered with insight and humour. Would recomend as a great way to discover new places and flavours, and fab way to spend the day. An ideal gift or treat.

Worth it!

My girlfriend and I booked a Thursday and happened to get Rob to ourselves. He was friendly and we enjoyed walking and breaking bread with him.

We savoured each stop for donuts and coffee; tacos and ciders; a corned beef hash; sausage rolls and award-winning ice cream.

Rob was a tome of Manchester history and goings on between stops and at the street art photo ops.

We give the Scranchester experience 5/5, would recommend!

Had a great day out catching up with friends whilst experiencing lots of different types of food. We’re all Manchester based and have never been to any of the places that Rob took us to. Would fully recommend to anyone and everyone!

Great conversation en route with interesting insights as we walked.

Great Manchester Food Tour, Highly Recommend

Spent the afternoon on this amazing tour. Rob the guide was very knowledgable, interesting and made the tour great fun. Good food, stops and I learnt so much about the City I live in. Would highly recommend and have already shared the link with many of my friends. I did eat the city and I am looking forward to trying the ancoats tour in 2024.

A 'Must-Do' Food Tour in Manchester - An Unforgettable Experience with Scranchester

Recently went on the Eat the City food tour in Manchester and would highly recommend to absolutely everyone. Steph was an amazing tour guide! She was very knowledgeable and had some great food recommendations but was also very funny and personable, it honestly felt like spending the afternoon with a friend. The food we had was delicious and we definitely uncovered some new favourite places that we’d definitely check out again. Having lived in Manchester all our lives we thought we’d seen it all but this tour really opened our eyes to some fab new places. Amazing value for money. We all had the best afternoon and would definitely do another food tour with the Scranchester company. Steph, thanks again for a really great tour. Amy, Matt & Joe

Delicious food and facts about Manchester

This is one of the best walking toursin Manchester. Had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Delicious food , and lots of interesting facts about the Northern Quarter, and Manchester history in general. Rob was a superb guide, very engaging, and kept us all entertained. Would recommend the tour.
