This was my first ever visit to a Theatre to see a production, was not sure what to expect, but went with a open mind. What a fantastic show, highly recommended, the show made you laugh and cry as well, All the actors were EXCELLENT.

We were in Manchester yesterday evening for a performance of 'Billy Elliot' at The Palace Theatre with two other couples. This was a lively, political, well acted, danced and sung production with excellent sound, lighting and special effects. The young people in the production were excellent but why oh why the bad language - EVEN SPOKEN BY THE YOUNGEST MEMBERS... More

We went to see Billy Elliot Last night and sat in the grand tier. My partner booked the tickets as a surprise, be mindful that the website is incorrect when saying which seats have restricted leg room. The middle of the Grand Teir isn't too bad as they moved us but at the sides it is quite bad. The steps... More

This is a beautiful old theatre, which should be supported, and going off the limited tickets available for the couple of shows I booked, it is obviously doing well. I agree with the other comments regarding the seating and drinks. It's not surprising that they have started searching ladies bags as, if you knew the price of drinks before you... More

We went to see Billy Elliot at the Saturday matinee. A fantastic show which has been much rewritten to the good since it first arrived in the West End. There is lots of strong language in it which is necessary to create the atmosphere of the situation. Our seats were in the Grand Tier and we noticed that those who... More

We took our family of adults to see the musical We had bought tickets for our two granddaughters 5 and 8 but realised it was going to be unsuitable for them so I sold them the tickets two adult friends Glad we did not take them as the unsavoury language was not what we would have wanted them to hear... Took my wife to see Billy Elliot the musical as a Birthday treat. This is a lovely Theatre, and the show was brilliant, but seating very cramped and after 3 hours sitting down numbs the bottom, so everybody was twitching in the seats. Drinks inside quite expensive and shorts and mixers were cans. We traveled by train from Frodsham to... More

A popular city centre theatre offering largely mainstream 'guaranteed bums on seats shows' such as BILLY ELLIOT, SHREK, LION KING ETC. Toilets are shabby, dated and need updating. Staff constantly changing which is a shame as I would like to see even a little consistency. Often get to meet the performers at stage door. Poor sightings even just a 3rd... More
