Amazing place, really enjoyed the games and the team hosted really well. We came as part of a birthday group and the team at Archertype were welcoming right from the start, prompt in their safety briefing and made us feel confident in playing! Great activity, burns more energy than you realise! Parking wasn't an issue either, just outside of town but loads of free street parking surrounding the venue.

Absolutely fantastic experience for our group ages 12-71. Quick safety brief and instruction on the bows with a few practice shots and then straight into shooting one another. It’s guaranteed fun and everyone enjoyed their time, just wish we’d had another hour booked.

Absolutely fantastic time for my son’s stag do. Unfortunately I can remember the names of the two people who lead the session. They were really good. I think this would be a great place for team building exercise’s, but was an awesome way to start a stag do! Brilliant thanks

We had so much fun at The Archertype! They explain everything to you to start off with and then give you some practice so you can get a feel for it. It's not hard at all. Then they get you going with the games. It's such incredible fun and the time just flies by! We played a few different games which keeps it interesting and all of which we enjoyed. They tailor the games depending on how many people you have with you so don't worry about group size. If you're concerned about pain, don't be, the arrows really don't hurt at all. Franklin and Tim were both great at explaining everything and also were both just lovely and fun. They took pictures for us as we were playing which was great as it meant we got some excellent action shots. We'll definitely be going back again with more people!

Great experience! I went twice in two weeks, one in a group of 12 with work, and then just the family group of 4 with the kids. Both times were great fun, the games were adapted for the different group sizes. Sim was a great instructor with the group of 4, and the two we had for the work event (sorry, I can't remember their names) were also great – all very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend this for a group of any size and age!

An ABSOLUTELY amazing experience!! 🥰🏹👊🏼 The ARCHERTYPE is the best in Combat Archery! If you like Archery, or even if you’ve never tried it, this is the place to go, easy to find and our hosts Holly and Cerys were brilliant! I’d never done Archery before, their help and advice were key in getting to grips with this highly fun filled, fast and furious hour and fifteen minutes. Thanks again! 🙏🏼♥️

We just had the best time here!!! We took our 13 year old daughter and 12 year old son!! It was great and Holly and Franklin who hosted it were engaging and enthusiastic making the experience even better! It got very competitive and I’d recommend wearing layers as you get very hot!! Super mix up of the games and a great bit at the end where we got to free fire at dad!!! Great for the family, especially one with teenagers ☺️🏹 would definitely recommend to others and will definitely be back ☺️ thank you 💫💫

Who would've thought firing arrows at your friends would be so much fun! Came here with my friends from work and had the best time. Holly and Franklin from Archertype did an amazing job hosting and even made sure it was still fair when we had uneven team members. Definitely would recommend it as a fun activity with a group of friends!

I booked this as an activity for a stag do, there were 14 of us and Cerys, Holly and Franklin were absolutely brilliant. We were there early and they happily let us in and sat us down and even started the session earlier than our booking time. We didn’t know what to expect from it but it was great fun, lots of game modes and Holly took lots of pictures and videos for us and even set up a (safe!) firing squad on the stag at the end, the session flew by and would definitely recommend this for any big parties

Great time here. Carys and Holly great hosts. Fun games and would recommend to group of friends for an activity to do in town, work colleagues or stag/hen do’s. Would go back!
