I booked a taxi back to Leeds the day before a concert in Sheffield to be picked up at 11:15pm. I got a "success" page on their website with a booking reference number. After the concert I tried to call them to locate the driver but there was no answer from the number on their website. There was a different number for WhatsApp so I called them through that. They hung up and sent a message back. I gave them my name and booking number and they told me if it wasn't pre-paid then it would have been cancelled. There was no option to pay on the website, only an option to pay the driver in cash or card. They said they'd sent me an email with a payment link. They didn't. They then told me the fare was cancelled immediately because they were based in Manchester and it would have been too far. Despite having a Sheffield to Leeds page on their website. They said they'd sent me a cancellation email. They didn't. And yes I can check a spam folder. So which was it? Either reason could be easily solved by a better website, but that doesn't excuse the rudeness of the staff. Knowing I was stranded in a different city late at night, they messaged me "Have a lovely evening." AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

DO NOT USE MMA TRANSFERS , they DO NOT honour bookings , Booked online for Manchester T2 pick up , chose the pay driver CASH . Put the £65.00 + £5.00 tip in an envelope ready to pay the driver . Flying from Cape Town via Amsterdam , arrived in Amsterdam with a 5 hour transit , went to business class lounge , so decided to check my emails , email from MMA taxis saying unless I paid upfront , the taxi would be cancelled . Immediately text them , but they were insistent I pay by card or bank transfer . As I was on an unsecured internet within schipol airport I didn’t want to do this , they just said then the booking is cancelled . So if I maddened checked my emails in Amsterdam there would have been no transfer . Arrived into Manchester with no taxi booked, trains and buses on strike . Luckily Street cars had a booking desk and I had a street cars taxi pick me up within minutes and a lot cheaper than MMA transfers . No waiting for a meet and greet, no walking to get to the taxi . Street cars pull up right outside the arrivals . Why do MMA taxis give you the option of cash when they have no intention of honouring this, should be reported to trading standards .

Very poor service. Company does not honour bookings. Last minute cancellation in less then 12 hours at night. Leaving the family rushing to make other arrangement late at night causing stress for all. The reason given for cancellation was due to non-payment, but the original email stated that they take cash payments, which we would have happily paid, and we would have pre-paid had they made some form of communication and called up. We tried to call back, but number only went to voice mail.

Useless company. I was unsure if it was safe to book an airport transfer with this company as the reviews aren't great. I decided to contact them to confirm they would be available for a 3am return to the UK. I was told which cars where available and so booked online. Hours after receiving confirmation I'd successfully booked, I received an email to say the booking had been rejected and they were unable to complete it. Don't be fooled by the website, whilst it might say they have available cars, they obviously don't. Wouldn't trust this company.
