We were lucky enough to book a guided tour of Heaton Hall. It's a fantastic place and with the aid of the friends of Heaton Hall, they made our visit extremely interesting. Here's to a speedy restoration and let's hope that its former character can been seen by all who wish to see this gem in Greater Manchester. Thank you... More

Even though it is being renovated the hall is beautiful and splendid inside. Up the stairs to the right is a bedroom where the Duke of Wellington slept. Some of the rooms are stunning and stuck in time.

Was spending the afternoon wandering around the park with some friends and was able to walk around the exterior of the building. Beautiful grounds in front where you can spread a blanket and relax. Came in May 2016 and while they had billboards mentioning restoration efforts, at this time the interior was not open to the public.
