Safe place to just walk around, clubs bars and restaurants if you want them. Been several times, never seen any trouble here. Everyone seems very friendly.

The General area is very Safe. and 'Gay Village' very safe. Although the surrounding areas can be a bit uncomfortable if you're not used to may 'drunks'. So to avoid - get Uber app asap and it will cost you a few £££s from... More

Hi I don't think you'll have a problem with any of the bars in canal Street. There were many cross dressers, welcome in all of the bars from what I seen. Have a great time.
