Wanted to visit Dry bar as I had known of its connections with the Factory label & Hacienda era back in the day . This bar I'm afraid to say looks like it hasn't saw a cleaner since the days of the Hacienda . The toilets are horrendous , the beer was flat & the whole place needs an overhaul... More

Had the Black Russian which was quite good but other than that: the pub was quiet and not many people were here on a Sunday night. The wooden tables and the abundant mirrors don't really fit in. The music is nothing special.

To be fair it depends on what you want from a pub/bar. It's an okay place to stop over for a drink or two but like everyone else said in their reviews do not use their toilet. It's beyond shocking!

Went here on a Sunday night as was in Manchester for a long weekend. Bought 2 beers. Husband went to toilet and said that the toilets were full of unflushed poo and sinks were grotty. I went to the toilet and the toilets were full of unflushed poo and the sinks were grotty. I've seen nicer festival toilets. Drank up... More

Dry Bar used to be one of my favourite places in the northern quarter, but what has gone wrong?! The toilets are absolutely disgusting, the toilet bowls and sink bowls of hair and stains, it stinks and if you're sat at the seating area on that side of the building it's all you can smell. It's such a shame.

On a stay over in Manchester, visited the historic dry bar made famous by it's previous owners Neworder/Factory records. Nice place welcoming staff good drinks choice. A must visit for any Neworder fan.

Dry bar has been around many years. Well worth a visit for a couple of drinks, soak up the history and enjoy. Even if it wasn't 'famous' it's still a great bar.
