Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Unfortunately, what used to be a lovely family park is no longer a pleasant place. It’s now basically just a dog park. Such a shame as there plenty of room to have a dedicated dog area but unfortunately there’s dogs running off the lead everywhere often scaring little children. Bins often full of stinking poo bags and every tree a dogs urinal.
A few changes and it could once again be great but it seems that dogs are now more important than little children. So sad

The rude man in the cafe who slammed my tea down as he was too busy talking to his mate. I asked if that was my tea when one presented itself. He said no! Then when mine came after a 16min wait he slammed it down! Never using the cafe again and tell everyone how rude this guy is

Lovely little park, well designed, surprisingly well maintained. Nice to see parents and children there.

I have poor balance and need to use a walker (rollator). I didn’t feel very safe as the place was dominated by dogs, too many of them off lead and not watched by owners chattering to friends. It was off putting to have to watch so many dogs defacating.

I’ll avoid it in future. It was never planned to be a dog compound.

Walking from Burnage/Withington to Didsbury I decided to cut across via the park. I noticed a plethora of activities from an excellent children’s play area , a cafe ( not sure it was open ) nice ponds with ducks , interesting trees and birds and plenty of prams, joggers and dogs on leads. The place had a nice relaxed atmosphere and is much larger than it first appears . Not too wet need to do more steps and got a spare half an hour ? Ideal

This is a beautiful park, and don't the locals know it! A team of volunteers digs in once a week to keep it as spick and span as it is, and blooming lovely it is, too. Well loved and well used, this park is a real gem. Great cafe, too!

Didsbury Park is lovely it reminds me a little of the 'Secret Garden' because of how hidden it appears, I don't think of at as a run around park but it is well maintained and the cafe in it is lovely too. Love the fact it feels community lead.

Although not a big park this place was heaving on a bank holiday.

Liked how popular it was and how everyone there seemed to care. The fact that the council invests in the place with staff working a bank holiday clearly helps.

Great cafe if you want food/drink with good prices also.
